Help with First PC Build.

Hey guys. I'm planning to build a new gaming pc for myself. This will be a proper build. With my budget of £1500 what would be a really good build. I haven't thought of the build precisely so I'm open to any other builds. 

 

This will be my first proper gaming pc. As my other pc i just bought it of amazon. 

 

This is the build I'm thinking of. I only ever had intel pc so thats my go to but I would be open to AMD. I used PC Specialist for this. Thinking of buying from there everything looks legit as far as I can tell. 

 

But, please don't hesitate to correct me.

If you're going for a high end rig, don't go for a low end PSU. A Corsair CX550 is better.

My review:

  • You have a K processor on a locked H series motherboard, which makes no sense. Either drop to a non K chip, or upgrade the Z platform.
  • Don't cheap out on the PSU.
  • Consider Ryzen.
  • It's better to get dual channel RAM (2 sticks), and aim for 3200mhz or higher.
  • Don't waste money on extra case fans.
  • Don't bother with a 120mm AIO, they're often worse than a much cheaper air cooler.
  • With your budget I'd be getting at least a 1TB SSD.
  • Don't buy until Black Friday, then replan accordingly.

The mother board you are looking at does not support over clocking 

i have put together a parts list here it does use AMD because it is better value right now than Intel  

This is no where near a perfect build it would cost around 1500 euros

The motherboard you picked is a budget non overclockable board, if you're going i5 or i7 8th/9th gen K CPU a Z390 is recommended, also depending on the Ryzen 3600's price where you live you could get it and a nice B450 board for cheaper than the 9600K and it would be a good step up from it. I recommend going Ryzen.

I agree on the PSU Part. Dont go cheap here. RMx or RMi is the better choice.

This is the new build I came up with. Is it good enough? Please edit it if you like. For the PSU is it good enough. I'm not sure about the PSU to be sure.

everything here looks good for the most part the graphics card should fit.though the case specs says the radiator can only go on the front but in the picture it is mounted to the top you most likely can mount the radiator to the top of the case . I have the same memory kit and i was able to overclock my memory to 3600 in ryzen master and you should have a bit of headroom to over clock your CPU with the radiator you are looking at. the mother board has both 4 pin rgb and 3 pin rgb headers. one problem  with the power supply is that is says it only has 8 pin eps connector from what i can see but if you look at the mother board you need 8 pin + 4 pin

the gaming edge is crap, get an X570-P instead. get a crucial P1 instead of the WD blue SSD. i'd get a corsair TX550M or bitfenix formula instead of the G3.
