from my quick 10 second look at it, it doesn't look like it sends files, just notifications. Why wouldn't you just use MTP to transfer files between your phone and PC?

are you talking about MTP on linux?
MTP should just be supported on linux, if you plug your phone in it should show up as a drive as long as you allowed it on your phone and set USB mode on your phone to MTP (File Transfer)
if you are talking about Crono it should work on Firefox on Linux.
