how to know if NVMe is compatible with motherboard

That motherboards works with NVME SSD's, check the manual (NVME = PCIE):

Keep in mind the bottom M.2 slot only support up to PCIE 2.0 x4 speeds and the bottom one also does not support SATA M.2

Also keep in mind the top M.2 slot when in use turn OFF the SATA 5 and 6 ports. So that would make it so you only have 4 left
