They have no stock of it, so the price is ridiculously high so that nobody buys it. Although in cases like these I'm not sure why it's not just listed as "out of stock," as the only units they still have are reserve units for RMA and warranty related matters.

If you want to buy DDR3, buy second-hand.. Shops don't sell  it anymore.. if they do they have low stocks and crazy prices..

Because listings cost money. Why make a new one when you can just increase the price. This keeping the listing and saving time and money.
