Phanteks Evolv X + Corsair ML120 Pro RGB fans

With this case, and using the Corsair commander pro, can I leverage the fan hub of the Evolv X to feed into the commander pro? I have 6 fans + pump that need to be controlled by the commander pro, so I'd like to connect 3 of the fans to the Evolv X controller and feed that fan header into the commander pro. I'm still building the system, just trying to figure out if I need a splitter or if this is viable.

Theoretically it would work, but it's more complicated than it needs to be having multiple fan hubs connected to each other (I'd just use a spliter)
