Switching to RX 580 or GTX 1060

Posledni

Hello, i was thinking about little upgrade from my GTX 970... I found second hand RX 580s and GTX 1060s (8GB and 6GB) around 100$, so if I sold my 970 it would cost me about 20-30$. What do u think guys is it worth upgrading? If it would which one is better option for like 2 more years?

CPU: i5 - 6600

the best option between the two would be the rx 580, but the even better option would be to keep the 970 and the money and get something beefier in the future

Honestly, I'd look for a 1660 or 1660 Ti - it's newer, more efficient and slightly faster (much faster in the case of the Ti).

If you're stuck between those two, I'd look at a Sapphire Nitro 580 8GB

580 is better option, should be fine with 6600 at 1080p and higher resolutions. rx 580 is generally slightly better or on par with the 1060 and has more vram.

neither of rx580 or 1060.

they might give you just 10% boost and that is about 6fps gain at high settings.

jumping from a 970 at least go for a rtx2060 grade. right now 5700/xt seems the sweet spot

Neither, preferably a 1660 Ti or better card.

Save, either get a 1660ti or step up to a rx 5700.

You dont gain a whole lot.

Ok, I meant in case of 20$... i dont want to spend 300$ for a new one. There are no many options to get second hand 1660/1660ti in my country.
