Gigabyte AD27QD: RGB? YCbCr422? YCbCr444? 8 bpc? 10 bpc?

I have a Gigabyte AD27QD, which contains a 144 Hz 1440p IPS panel.

 

As it's a 144 Hz monitor, I've used ran at that refresh rate since I bought it a few months ago.

 

However, I noticed that, in the NVIDIA control panel, whilst I always get various options in 'Output color format' (RGB, YCbCr422, YCbCr444) and 'Output dynamic range' (Full, Limited), I only get the 8 bpc option for 'Output color depth'.

 

My questions are:

1. Which 'Output color format' should I be using?
2. Should I switch from 144 Hz to 120 Hz in order to choose 10 bpc? (it's a 8-bit + FRC panel)

RGB or YCbCr 4:4:4. But preferably RGB.

Unless you have content that supports 10bpp, it's not really worth using.

Yeah honestly HDR is one of the few reasons to run 10 bit for me. Other than that better to have the faster refreshrate.

I've just discovered that 10 bpc is needed to use the HDR part of my monitor, so I think I'll stick with that.

 

I can't tell the difference between 120 and 144 fps/Hz anyway.
