This is far from affordable.

 

You can get a samsung 6000 or 7000 series 4k tv for like $500-700 which has lower latency and no need to choose between HDR and low latency because there is no latency increase by enabling HDR.

 

Local dimming is also a gimmick, making trailing light behind objects and creating an inconsistent black level of the image on screen.

This is the complete opposite of what you want for content creation.

Choose between dimmer whites or brighter blacks, but as long as it's consistent then you can edit images and videos no problem.

Local dimming ruins black uniformity, which is one of the things rtings tests for in their screens.

If it can be disabled, definitely do so.

That out of the way, I would love to see the inclusion of FreeSync on TV for some causal console gaming.
