If you can stay above 144 FPS FreeSync is redundant.

I would be more concerned of ghosting on that VA panel.

I wouldn't touch that thing if its 144hz but no freesync or g-sync.  This is a recipe for disaster,  Once your frame rate drops below 144fps its gonna get laggy or not smooth.  When freesync can give you a smooth experience either at 144fps or 80fps ,, you won't really notice a difference.

I sometimes play games capped at 90 fps with FreeSync disabled (used to have an AMD GPU too), and it was fine on my monitor. I think you overestimate the benefits of FreeSync.

Ghosting means that when the picture changes quickly (e.g. when you turn the camera fast), the picture will not transition immediately and you will see "ghosts" of the previous camera angle briefly.

That monitor you are considering seems to have ghosting issues.

im confused a bit.. once i search for 1440p, 144 Hz curved the price jumps to 450+..

what would be the difference between 1080p 60 Hz and 1080p 144 Hz ? Better image? faster gaming? im  already getting +150 in most games i play on 60 Hz

im i going to get lower fps when i get 1080p 144 Hz ?

the reason why i need a new monitor is that although i have RTX 2070 the image still sucks,, even when i set setting to ultra the image just SUCK

Your best bet is to save up and get a good quality monitor.

There are truly some excellent 1440P 144Hz gaming monitors available.

If you shop price you will regret it.
