Probably can't if it is an LCD display, there are lots of different defects you can do nothing about, if it is new enough maybe you can RMA.

But much more info would be nice, what monitor, what panel etc etc, maybe even a picture?

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Then it is a cheap monitor, probably TN, so yeah. Nothing you can do if it is monitor related, just be happy you don't have this kind of defect:

But you can try the thing @Turtle Rig suggested, maybe the problem is with your cable etc

Try turning off the monitor for a hour or so then connect it and see if you still get that darker botched corner.  Try a different cable, worst case try a different slot for your video card.

But at the end of the day its a TN or VA and there's nothing you can do about it.  This is why people get IPS and what not.

Yeah, but ips has IPS glow and other defect, end of the day LCD is just a bad monitor technology, but because it is so much lighter and thinner than previous monitors we use it.

LED monitors like MicroLED or OLED are better in that regard.(when they finally come out)

Well rip. You can try to lower your monitor's brightness, then you might notice it less.
