best rugged android phone

so im a big clutz dropping things as much as linus so im wanting to know what the best phone would be to cater to my life so it doesn't break after five mins anyone got any advice. ideally one I can buy outright and not on contract

Honestly, just get a good case for your phone. Most of the quality rugged phones have been discontinued. The best you can get right now is the CAT S48C/S61/S41, which is overkill for your needs, or the S8 Active, which is about to be two generations old.

well I would but my phone is non functioning and I don't think the one I had would have had a case

What I'm saying is don't focus on rugged Android phones. They're few and far between, and usually aren't that great.
Just buy a regular phone and a case.
