I pretty much get the same exact service when I was ussing AT&T paying like $130 a month

I have a simple flip phone on a Verizon pay-as-you-go plan that costs me $5.45/month (I have automatic withdrawal from a bank acount to keep the "card" topped up; $5 is the minimum monthly payment to keep the account active)). I have text and voice mail disabled to avoid having phone spammers running up my bill. I rarely use the phone so the $5 monthly fee (the 45 cents is for taxes and other fees) rolls over each month so I have a hefty balance for the rare occasions I use the phone more than a day or two at a time (I'm charged 1.99 for the first call in a day and remaining calls that day are free; there is no charge if I don't use the phone that day).

 

Edir: Forgot ot mention I paind a whopping $12 for the phone.

$30 usd a month... gives me 2gb of data which is perfect given most stores and restaurants have wifi plus my area has quite a few hotspots i can connect to. Phone itself was free for switching to cricket

my dad pays 100 dollars thru cricket for 5 lines of data, with unlimited talk and text. unlimited data as well, but after 5gbs it'll throttle speeds from lte spec to dismal. my phone cost me about 730 dollars though (iphone 8 plus 64g space grey) that was the steepest cost since that was out of my pocket but i think it's better than monthly payments on it.

bought my phone for around $125 (approx, its a locally branded phone lol it was on sale from $287 specs are kinda dated but its fine for me SD 615, 3gb RAM, & 32gb storage) and pay around $15 (approx) monthly for 1gb of data for facebook and 3.5gb for anything else, unlimited texting to all networks, unlimited calls to my own network and around $4 (approx) spending spending limit
