Can an AMD RadeonHD 6540 run a 2k 34" ultrawide?

I've got a beater of an old HP Pavilion Slimline desktop from god only knows how far back. It's running a core i5-2400 and an AMD Radeon HD6450 along with 6gb of god-only-knows ram (running Windows 7 and Linux Mint 19.0). I recently got a Samsung 34inch 2k ultrawide display (CJ79), but this old HP won't display it in anything above 1920x1080, so everything's all stretched out. My other computers output to the display no problem. Is this HP too old to be able to display anything beyond 1920x1080?

What display output are you using?

6540 spec

• DisplayPort 1.2 -Max resolution: 2560x1600 per display
• HDMI 1.4a -Max resolution: 1920x1200
• Dual-link DVI with HDCP - Max resolution: 2560x1600
• VGA -Max resolution: 2048x1536

Use DP if you can. Still not going to be enough, but its better.

Bummer, mine only has a single DVI and an HDMI, no DP. I'll have to look into other GPUs. Fortunately, I can probably find something cheap given how old this system is.

Ya it will run, but it will run at 30fps lol
