Quick thanks to @Paul Thexton for showing the article but mate, it could've been its own post Summary Say hello to a facebook smartwatch leak, with it possibly having cellular connections, rounded corners, detachable bands and a fucking camera notch. (Note: This is a leak and may not be the final product) Quotes My thoughts You can usually get rid of all the notch problem shenanigans thingy with slight UI adjustments most of the time. How would you do that on a smartwatch though? Either way, hehe notch on smartwatch Sources Laptopmag article macrumors article techcrunch article (has extra info me thinks)

I did a fresh win10 install on my brother's laptop (dell w/ 7300hq/1050) and after downloading csgo and starting it, I noticed it ran fine until the cpu started throttling to 1 ghz and the game dropped to 10 fps. I monitored the temps and they are alright, power did't exceed 28w (pl1 is 45w) so it's unclear to me what caused those stutters. I'll attach a pic of the clocks during gaming. Also, on a cpu stress test it didn't do that, instead it stayed locked at 3.1 ghz. How do I stop this from happening?

Last post got ignored because it was too long and wordy, so here we go again, ill make it short and sweet... Is $2,549 CAD ($2,111 USD) (before taxes) too much money for a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro with 5800H, RTX 3070, 16GB RAM, 2x 1 TB NVME? I feel like i got ripped off somehow and I haven't even received it yet.

Hey guys, I just assembled my new PC however there is no signal from the monitor. I've used Display Port and HDMI on the GPU, reinserted the RAM, checked the CPU is working and is not damaged. My GTX 1060 fan works the the logo lights on. It also turns on the monitor when I start the computer, but there is no signal found Specs Ryzen 7 5800x GTX 1060 6G 2x8 16G 3200MHZ CORSAIR PLAT. DOMINATOR RAM, INTEL XMP CERTIFIED ASUS TUF B550M-PLUS MOBO 3TB WD BLACK HDD 256G SSD I think it might be the ram. It comes from an old build I gutted a couple years ago, however I looked online and Intel XMP says it still works for AMD systems. Other than that, I am totally lost. The CPU is hot, I took off the cooler to check. I hear beeps from my MOBO and it gets to the point where it has a VGA light that lights up. That's all I'm totally dumbfounded. Edit- Tried to clear CMOS did not work.

Hello, I'm new to this forum so I apologize if this is posted in the wrong section. A while ago I installed Linux Ubuntu on dual boot with my windows 10. Everything worked fine, but yesterday I think I created a new partition or renamed one and today when I turned on my computer I got this error: now I'm not a complete tech noob, I tried getting some help online and it didn't work. Here's what I tried: -checking discs with ls command and then trying to set a new one with set boot and set prefix commands -I made a windows 10 bootable USB drive and booted the automatic repair -I tried running a command in CMD, forgot the exact name, it was supposed to repair the booting sequence I'll try to respond to every comment asap as I need my PC to work for tomorrow.

I'm trying to fix a Z170 system that will not post. It all started when Minecraft was opened, which caused the PC to crash completely. Since then I have done the following: Rebooted the PC DRAM light would blink but would not go to VGA light Removing GPU made it to POST with a "overclocking failed error" This persisted through multiple reboots until I switched from Asus Optimal to Normal After doing so, the original DRAM light blinking issue came back (running on integrated graphics at that point). Clearing CMOS did not fix the issue I tried with each stick of memory in a variety of slots. No dice. I am currently reseating the CPU but I doubt this will fix it. Is this a bad motherboard issue?

Seems like this error is delaying startup by like 30s. It says no keyboard detected during boot but the keyboard is clearly detected since it's lit up even before and after like 5 seconds it moves on from that screen and loads up normally, so while technically I can proceed normally, it's a bit annoying to see an error when there shouldn't be one. It started happening after the last time I cleaned the pc and disconnected and reconnected the cables.

NAS build: * Xeon E5-2666 V3 * Huananzhi X99-8M Gaming * 32GB ECC memory (2x16GB ) * EVGA GTX 960 * Coolermaster V650S PSU problem: * NO SIGNAL I suspect the GPU might have died or the motherboard x16 slot is faulty.

Hey guys, I‘m new to this Forum and desperately need your help. Yesterday, I connected a new HDD to my computer. When I reconnected the cable of my PSU and tried to boot my computer, it didn‘t Turn on whatsoever. Only my keyboard and mouse have blinking LEDs as long as the PC is connected to an Outlet. My First thought was to take out the HDD I had just installed, which wasn‘t fixing the error. I‘ve also tried other troubleshooting steps like waiting 2 hours with the PSU Switch set to off and Power disconnected, replacing my MoBo cr2032 battery, trying to Remove all drives and even swapping out my graphics Card. I‘ve also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the 24pin MB connector and swapping RAM sticks. All of the steps above didn‘t help. Since I am a photographer and videographer, i Need a PC to edit and earn money. Do you guys think my Motherboard/PSU is Fried? My System has Been running Just Fine for about 8 years now. Thanks for helping a PC Noob out. Hello everyone! I have a problem with an AsRock B450 Gaming K4. After installing Valorant and the computer restarted, the board won't find any internal drives. I've both reset the BIOS by removing the battery and also updated the BIOS. It still couldn't find any drives. After letting it be over night, it turned on like nothing had happened! YAY! NO! Valorant still complained about needing a restart because the Anti-Cheat wasn't active, although I have a pretty old driver and it said this could be a cause too. After updating the GPU driver and restarting again, I have the same problem again, no internal drives can be found and it just boots straight to the BIOS. After a few hours today, it could boot again, YAY! But NO! as another restart couldn't boot again (no internal drives found). Booting into a Linux distro I can't see the drives either (obviously, but I tried). This looks like an irregular problem, which can be hard to diagnose. I really can't think of anything else to do, except buying a new board. That is, unless anyone here has any input/help for the problem.

Hello, I have this Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE500KL for quite a while now! The only problem is that I wanted to hard reset it. So I did, but unfortunately I have deleted the entire internal memory! The only way I think I could fix it (btw I cannot install any firmware throught twrp) is through zip backup... and I don't have one! If somebody could send me one or help me with this..!? Thank you!

A question for you Americans or anyone who lives there or knows this. Why in America, for electronics people don't pay taxes? Or do you but it's not when you buy a product but some time after? Or the tax is 2% or 3% so you barely notice it? How does the system work over there? By tax, i mean the VAT. The Value Added Tax.

So I make a connection to my home wifi via an usb internet adaptor. It used to connect regularly but a few weeks back I had to hard reset my PC as it was booting to a blank screen. It says the wifi is connected, but no internet (with the yellow triangle). I have a usb wifi adapter, specifically TP-Link TL-WN725N Nano usb wifi adapter. I also tried with ethernet and it had connection but it sometimes did not work for a few seconds as teamspeak was reconnecting, finally it did not just connect. Can anyone help if you can, please?

So I'm sure this has been discussed alot but I need to hear it from someone that writes for or plans the LTT videos. After watching the nth video that Linus does building a PC (sleeper build) with an i9 of all things, I came here to wonder out loud. Why has LTT, in my knowledge, not done an AMD featured build? Yes I know about the supercomputer Linus built at AMD not long ago and yes I know about the exclusive Radeon and TR reveal at the comival, but damnit, I just don't see why not? Would I have liked to see an AMD/Nvidia system in the sleeper build? Yes. Will LTT ever release a video with a freaking Ryzen chip in a system that THEY built (not Alienware) ON PURPOSE? well that remains to be seen. Again, sorry for the ranty, whiny nature of this post but I like diversity. Be great to see a system built that doesn't get Intel more ad revenue to blast my Facebook with their "scalability" adverts. Psh.

Hello! I today installed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS alongside my current Windows 7. However, when i start up Ubuntu, it spews out a bunch of errors every 0.5-seconds ish, as shown here: I used the "Install Ubuntu alongside Windows 7" option, and i didn't set any of the partitions (i also have no idea what partition dev/sda5 is, i can check). The strange thing is that, if i try to start Windows after this, it freezes after logging in (restarting again and not going into Ubuntu makes it work). I looked on the internet, and saw that it could be either one of these: The HDD The PSU I tested the HDD using chkdsk (returned fine) and the WMIC SMART test (returned "OK"). After that, i checked the voltages in the BIOS. 3V, 5V and 12V were just at their right values, nothing out of the ordinary. Also, Ubuntu DOES startup (sometimes!), but it takes a ton of time and even then, you can expect any program freezing after 15-30 seconds then letting you use it a bit more, and the cycle repeats. And it isn't fully functional. What could be happening here? Specs: Motherboard: H81M-S1 rev. 2.1 RAM: 1x8 GB Kingston RAM HDD: Western Digital 10 something SSD: none PSU: 80+ Bronze one, not very high quality CPU: i3-4160
