For an amp I would recommend the SMSL SA-50.
It's a really good bang for the buck speaker amp.
It should be about €70 excluding shipping.

For speakers I can recommend looking at the Wharfedale Diamond 10.1s or 9.1s.
Both designes are older, but they still sound really good.

If you're capable of finding a retailer, the Micca MB42X are also worth looking into.

There is also the option to build your own speakers, but I don't know how accessible speaker parts or kits are in Finland.

    Apperantly I did miss that.

Well in combination with the fact that a Linux boot fixes it, I would strongly go towards a defective driver for the keyboard, which is rather unfortunate since (at least speaking for myself) I have never seen a seperate keyboard driver for a laptop and just plugging it in & out isnt really an option.

Depending on the manufacturer you may or may not have a programm pre-installed on the laptop that allows you to rollback and/or re-install drivers - if you do, give that one a shot (or just go to the manufacturer homepage and download every driver they have and do it that way)

Another option would be to see if you can find the keyboard in device manager and first try to update it and then deinstall & reinstall from there.

This one you probably did allready but anyway: if you are running windows 8 or 10, do a system-restart, turning it on/off is not the same with those OS as they still keep specific informations untill you either boot the OS down with a specific command line or do a restart out of the running PC.

Last idea I'd have, check windows update log to see if windows maybe gave you a new keyboard driver and de-install that.

Edit: oh and if everything else fails, there is ofc always a full reformat ... if that does not fix it, most likely nothing anybody here or yourself will come up with will.
Edit2: you could also boot in safemode and see if that causes the issues aswell.

No, fuck you. You don't get to justify everything under "But the children!" and "stopping terrorism".

Not related to this article, but someone on reddit broght up this Cameron quote
As a U.S. citizen, I see shit like this happening across the pond and I fear that in years to come, we'll follow in their footsteps.

They should really screw themselves. With an ice auger. I'd give an ID to watch that.

Finland has the best educational system in the world, but Finnish is very hard to learn.
Sweden is not at all bad, and Swedish is super easy to learn, especially since you already know English and German.
    Canada is cold af.

It's a dummy drive. There could go a DVD drive in it, or you can buy something called a HDD Caddy, where you can put an extra hard drive in that spot, for extra storage or an SSD for faster boot times.

No. They can both handle 1080p 144Hz, so there's really no difference, unless you have built-in speakers in your monitor and you want audio. Then you would need DisplayPort.

So I completed my PC build the other day, I had no idea what to expect when I finally got around to turning it on for the first time, just praying that nothing would melt. It didn't help that my brother said he could smell "burning" as I fired it up.

In any case, nothing happened I had to update the BIOS using USB flash back, the red LED indicating "no boot device" eventually disappeared and then finally, everything came on!

Anyway, she's not the prettiest thing in the world but I've always been one who's valued performance over looks.

Found it very daunting at first, but thanks to Linus and this community, everything is now working exceptionally well.

    So thanks again!

    Specs:

    CPU - i5-4690K 3.5GHz (currently overclocked up 4.5GHz @ 1.3 V)
    CPU Cooler - Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM
    MOBO - Asus Z97-PRO(Wi-Fi ac)
    Memory - Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866
    SSD - Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5"
    HDD - Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
GPU - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB
PSU - SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 650W Fully Modular "80 Plus Gold"

All wrapped up in a Vengeance C70 case (a new one this time >.<)

Oh there's also some Noctua NF-F12 120mm fans in there too (which were a pig to fit on the front panel as the holes weren't big enough but using a screwdriver I widened them enough to fit the rubber screws/gromits in), will eventually get a couple more to replace the remaining stock fans.

But i have personally not heard of that many led failures on Corsair keyboards, and if there's been failures there's often been a replacement keyboard from Corsair.

It has been a long time since I have built my PC (like nearly 2 years), however it has changed so much from what it was on day 1, I to make a log of its evolution.

Originally I intended the PC to be a build it and forget about it thing, as there was no intention on spending more money on something that was already very capable at the time (dual 760's and an ivy bridge i7 for 1080p was real nice), however as time went by, my PC became partially a test bench for me to try out things, that I had never done before/ intended to do.

Coming from a gaming laptop, the ability to do anything I wanted to do, slowly made me spend more and more time on it trying to get to just the way I wanted it, and even though the path I chose to get there might not have been the most efficient (time, and money wise), it let me get exposure to what worked well, and what did not.

Thankfully though, after nearly 2 years, I think it is at a stage where I'm proud to call it my PC.
