  1. So after 5 years, 4 coolers, 3 houses, 2 motherboards and 1 RMA my old rig is on it's last legs. I want to have a build ready for when it croaks, or sooner if I decide waiting for the next generation of hardware just isn't worth it. I'm trying to stick to a black + RGB color scheme, and I already have the SSD. I'm trying to spend around $900 with out a GPU or storage. I'm also interested in other cases, I don't have much space in my apartment and I need WiFi. I also have a PCIE sound card I'm bringing over. Now, I've stopped following tech news as much as I did when I built my first rig, I see that Intel's projected 10th gen Desktop processors aren't predicted to be that great. On top of the generic "will it fit, is the case good, etc" questions, should I wait a few months to build, or should I buy it now?
  2. Cleared CMOS, updated BIOS and it booted into windows install.
  3. Of course when I'm looking to upgrade the next big performance jump keeps getting delayed.
  4. I deleted the partition and am trying to get into the bios to disable it. When I entered the settings on it my bios froze. I'd hazzard a guess and say that's the point of failure in both cases.
  5. A few weeks ago I ran into issues with my PC, and I assumed my raid array failed. I'm working on it now, and I am unable to reinstall windows. On the screen where windows installs, the circle either freezes after a few minutes, or BSODs and displays an error message (Your PC Ran into a problem, restarting) at various stages of fullness (ie only the first 20 or so characters show up). I can get into the Bios just fine, and my next step is going to be resetting the CMOS. Relevant specs are MSI G7 X99A i7 6800K Reset CMOS and it gave me uncorrectable error after a rather short boot time. Now it's giving me error A2 on my motherboard
  6. I have a new Insperon XPS 15 7590 with a 256GB NVME SSD. I'd like to upgrade it to a 1TB one. Whats the best one to buy now? Whats the easiest way to clone an SSD. I'm probably putting the 256GB one into my Desktop.
  7. Trying to decide between Laptops. I can get the Huawei with i7 for around $1100 "Like new" or the XPS15 for $1400. Also into other options. Would prefer a touch screen, below $1500, and a dedicated GPU. Nothing too gamery
  8. Honestly the only thing I still come here to do is to laugh at people crying about how they're somehow oppressed and ask tech support questions.

And I don't get answers on my tech support threads 😎

  10. I swear I've seen more people get offended by PewDiePie being "blamed" than people actually "blaming" him. I don't understand why all the G4M3R bros ignore the horrible travesty that takes place, to go and defend poor poor the $20 Million Dollar reaction channel.

  12. I can smell this post jesus christ this is probably one of the most neckbeardy things I've ever read. Tech bros being psuedointellectuals are so annoying
