your being very dense about it, the huge fucking difference here is that its almost certain you can remove it, the days of shit being buried deep into windows so you can't remove it are over, at least when it comes to microsoft programs, yes this is about a third party, but its ms putting it there, not king themselves via a deal with a OEM, this isn't freaking tangent

also i'm sure the people you say are pro of it, they actually aren't, they are being knowledgeable that with the predecessor of this version of windows, 8, apps can be removed with a single click, ALL OF IT!!!!, nothing gets left in the system, no junk or useless registry entries, the only thing left are used generated files saved in the user folder, freaking nothing is left, those people know that and they are just saying this isn't a big of enough deal to raise the freaking pitchfork and burn ms to the ground were you and others seem to thinks so, now if this was uninstalable i wouldn't even discuss it and agree with you but this is not the case, and its very but very far from being that way

Well I wont be upgrading to Windows 10 any time soon, even though it seems like a hell of a OS.

Have you ever tried uninstallting anything on an android phone from samsung/sony/whatever, its full of crap noone ever uses and all it does is cry for upgrades and to have access to your entire phone, I bet when this hits Candy Crush will be able to: Read all your data on the harddrive, get your location, send notifications to King and MS, send "annonymous data" to whatever third party paid MS or King for it. This even before you have installed Windows 10 completely. When I install an OS I expect a clean OS with minimal programs so I can choose what to install and when. Windows 8 was borderline(still using indows 7) if you ask me with all the shit that got pre-installed.

That is why I want a payed option with NOTHING installed except the OS and a webbrowser, rest I can fix on my own. Sure I know I might be a minority on this, but being a IT-professional its scary to see people dont care anything about where their data gets uploaded to.

What if MS decides that you cannot uninstall it, what then? Your computer will be just like your phone, full of crap you will never use, but its still there using resources and uploading data......

Dragontail got a reaction from Vitalius in Question about forcing a router to release and renew it's IP address after losing power for any amount of time?
Ok I am assuming you either have a cablemodem/router(with coaxial connection) or a DSL modem/router which you have bridged. How it works is that the modem just translates the DSL/coaxial signal into ethernet frames and nothing else thus you get an IP from your ISP. If or when the power to the modem breaks it restarts the adjency with your ISP usually takes about 30 sec to a minute before it can establish it again due to the distance, latency and the syn/ack process.

I think what is happening is that your router restarts faster than your modem can establish a connection with the ISP thus giving the router a failsafe private IP(dont know why this even exsists, but oh well). There is no way around this than to release the IP and renew it when the adjency from the modem to the ISP is reestablished, hope this answer was to some help.

time and time again, people try to reference "futureproofing" with computer hardware, but to no avail. There are no such thing as futureproofing a computer it will fail in some point in time because there will be features that will start to surface and the hardware you spent lots of money on wont have.
If you can play YOUR games now fine, then dont upgrade. Just do it whenever you see your computer dont perform to your satisfactory, its all personal preferences and a subjective argument, but its the only truth you can play around when buying computer hardware.

    my two cents.

They want to appeal to the mass market.  That's why when a company strikes gold with a gaming formula (COD is the first one that comes to mind) they can milk it for ages.

Side Note: Below is a great (and funny) video based loosely on this topic.  There is some language that may offend, just a heads up.

That would be fine if most developers didn't half ass it and change health and damage values at higher difficulties, at least in shooters.
I'd really love it if the AI changes with higher difficulties and not just health values.

    Tell me you didn't add a second 680 for 1080p @60hz?

If you aren't running VSYNC then you should be getting full usage out of both cards.

I dunno, telling somebody not to SLI because you did something wrong isn't right.

Honestly, if people are having all kinds of issues with SLI then it's something on their end. The only problems I've had with SLI is it doesn't work in some games and other games have a terrible driver for it. When a game has a good driver then there's absolutely nothing wrong with SLI. I can play BF3, Tomb Raider, Starcraft 2, Far Cry 3, Borderlands 2, XCOM, Alan Wake, pretty much every game I currently have installed with zero SLI issues. However, there's a few where either there isn't a driver or the game is just a POS to begin with, like Metro Last Light.

People talking about all this micro stutter and crashing and whatever else is just nonsense. I'm sure older cards had issues with microstutter but I've had zero issues with my 670's. As far as crashing goes, I can put money on it that it's something to do with their power supply not cutting it.

Now what you shouldn't do is get two weak cards because if a game doesn't support SLI your stuck with a single weak card. For instance, you'd be better of with SLI 770's then SLI'd 660's. Instead of the 660's your better off getting a single 780!

    Sorry for the long ramble.
