MMR77 reacted to Ahoy Hoy in Skull candy headphones
Sonys range of wireless headphones are very good and very popular with positive reviews from public and specialist reviewers.
They just released a new generation of their flagship wireless headphones and the price of the old generation which is basically the same product has halved.
So take a look at the Sony WH 1000XM3
I personally use them and they have great bass if that's something you find important

MMR77 reacted to Morrie Sells Wigs in PC VS PS5
Good point.
I mean, we'll definitely see impressive stuff on ps5 once the developers get to grips with it - but just think what pc will be able to offer by then.
In 5 years we will start to see the ps5 really being pushed to its limit, meanwhile the GPUs and CPUs out by then, and if 4k becomes ubiquitous, we will see stuff on pc that will blow ps5 out of the water.

Agreed.
PC is always going to be at the bleeding edge, though I think consoles this generation will do a better job than the underpowered offerings we got last time.

I wouldn’t touch console game except for a Nintendo console.
I can’t imagine gaming on a console, I would feel so restricted.

I totally agree, PS5 graphics will be pushed to it limits in a few years, after 4 years we're gonna see the true performance of rtx 2080 thing! agree?

The PS5's big titles with impressive graphics will typically be running at 30 FPS to get those graphics.
Performance of around an RTX 2080 is probably pretty close to what the PS5 will do. But Nvidia's RTX 3070 and 3080 for the PC are eclipsing that level of performance before the PS5 even releases. I think Nvidia wanted to do that, as the consoles are competitors to them.

Ps4 and Xbox one were like low-mid settings, these new machines are going to be a significant upgrade.
Might be more like ultra settings vis a vis the actual clarity and resolution - the issue is what frame rates can they run?
Again, a lot of people seem very optimistic about them doing high fps too.

If you have Beyerdynamics, why are you looking at the bottom of the barrel for audio products

MMR77 reacted to rice guru in Skull candy headphones
Just cause something has bass doesn't mean it's good though. The sound quality on skull candies are generally sub par they offer gear to those who only care about bass and nothing else they are just a general consumer headphone

If you detailed what you want headphones for and what kind of headphones you want we can help you

compared to the 770? more bass more soundstage more treble a little less mids, more detail retention.

I've been running the Corsair void pros for about 2 years and they are rock solid and sound pretty good. Would recommend

Old doesn't mean bad though the 770 itself is like from 85

That is a very old and outdated headset. It's good, but old. If you want audiophile grade performance and an attached mic. the ATH - G1 from Audio Technica is a solid option. The MMX300 from Beyerdynamic is also a good option, alonside the PC37X. The best would be to get something like the Fidelio X2HR or the DT770 and an external mic like the ModMic or the VModa BoomPro

Other alternatives is the PC 37x. And if you check the Beyer dynamic site while not a headset but worth looking at the tygr is on sale.
