well... i don't see why it would be a problem
and just a question, why such a high price for that old of a platform? because you can get like a freezer 7 for a couple bucks and it'll do the job perfectly

Dark rock Pro4 maybe? If that is too new then Dark rock Pro 3, then Pro 2 or Pro 1.
Also with Noctuas you could buy a mounting kit, so that is also a consideration.

The only reason I might consider keeping that would be to run retro games. I have a pretty big collection of older PC games on Cd and dvds (mostly cd) that will not run on modern machines. maybe play 7th guest or kings quest (my personal fav is kings quest VI)on it?
I have an older amd system for exactly that purpose, but honestly its pretty rare that it is powered on.

Well if you're browsing webpages from that time (which is extinct by now), you can.
Other use for that is old office apps, 16bit gaming, AOL messaging, mIRC.
