You can configure this the way you like it and you can also change the alphanumeric layout to Norwegian. It supports backlight too...

In addition to a good web browsing pc, it would also be a decent retro game emulator.

I would go for the Ryzen 7, more cores and more overclocking capabilities. All up to you though because the 2600 is newer and does have some other nice features.

I don’t know actually but I saw them the other day and they had good reviews. I actually thought about buying a pair myself.

Eons ago, I worked for a firm that had real-genuine-honest-to-god IBM workstations (in beige boxes no less) 
We needed to move it and I could tell it was quite dusty and in need of a good cleaning. Trouble was, it used (at the time) very specialized hex/torx bolts to keep it closed so that only real-genuine-honest-to-god IBM techs could open it. Plus they were painted to show if they were ever opened. They hadn't been touched since the system was built at the factory.
 
My co-worked was ex-air force, and he had the tools. So one day he brings in said tools, plus an air compressor.
We take the IBM out to the parking lot and open up the case.
Inside it's slammed full of dust. So much so, you couldn't see any of the components (think of fog covering a bridge, by way of example)
 
"Stand back" he says, and hits the computer with the air compressor.
Once the dust was gone and we could see again we found a giant dried pretzel stick inside the case.
 
The only way it could have gotten there, was from the factory...

If he had done some searching he could’ve totally found some better deals. I got a cheap starter card (MSI Radeon R9 380 4G) for $60. Sure, it’s only got 4gb, but for the price, I can deal with it. 

My aunty told me that her laptop "isn't working".

Her Norton Antivirus subscription had ended and the pop-up warning screen is all red so she thought her laptop wasn't working?!?!?

Her e-mails stopped working in the Windows Live mail client (from Windows 7), I had to clear some cache to get it working which meant you had to re-link your e-mail account to the client, she has no clue what her password was and we had to contact some Microsoft help-line to get her account back, it took about 2 days...

"My laptop keeps turning off when I'm using it", she brought it in, got her to replicate the "crash", turns out she was just running out of battery (note: laptop is 8 years old at this point, it manages about 20 minutes of battery life).

So this PS4 guy in my department at work is building his first PC. He's 22 but looks 14, has no life outside of video games, lives with his parents, and is the stereotypical definition of a loser. He checks every box. I know those are awful things to say about somebody but the kid is a dick. He's a lazy worker that puts no effort into his job and brags about getting carried. He always makes the most rude and condescending remarks to people for absolutely no reason, and he has no manners whatsoever. He's also delusional beyond belief and lies to girls online about how he looks. I try to like the guy but it's hard.
 
Well last week he had told me he was about to build his first PC. We got to talking and I told him I was kinda interested in getting back into it myself. He immediately told me to tell him my price range and he'd make me a list of compatible parts so I didn't "screw it up". I thanked him but said I'd be okay. He got all pissy but yeah.
 
We eventually ended up on the topic of graphics cards and he was complaining about how expensive they are. He then pondered the idea of going to the used market. I gave the typical warning about being careful after the latest mining craze we experienced but told him I typically buy used myself.
 
The more we dug into the topic though, the more obvious it became that his expectations were very unreasonable for his budget. Feeling bad, I offered him either a 980 Ti Amp or Fury Nitro for $150. I also gave him the option of a 280X Toxic for $75 in case he just wanted something decent enough to run on for now. Well a few days went by and he ended up going with a used 970 FTW for $170 on eBay and thought it was a steal. He proceeded to show me an Amazon listing for that card new at $280.
 
I explained to him that the 970 hasn't been made in years, the card on Amazon he saw was just a very overpriced private listing, and that almost $200 for a used one was a dumb purchase...especially when he could have gotten a 980 Ti from somebody he actually knows and can trust FOR $20 LESS.
 
He got PISSED!!!!! He started yelling about how Zotac "isn't exactly known for their quality" which is blatant nonsense with no merit. I brought up the exploding 1070's from EVGA and he accused me of making shit up.
 
Later in the day after he'd cooled down, he was telling me about how excited he was to get his 970. He mentioned that it came with 4GB vram...I literally face palmed.

I don’t know if this was mentioned but Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) is really good. Each show is about an hour and a half. You have to watch very carefully though- if you fall asleep for a second you’ll have no idea what’s going on. Really good show though and they’re all available on Netflix
