    Justapersononthenet got a reaction from Frandesktop in Since my ASRock B450M-Pro4 is dead - how about this MSI X470?
    It's not like you're putting some R7 cpu in there, I don't think they cared enough to put a bigger bios chip but on my gaming pro carbon (non max) the bios got super simple (no gui, no mouse, same features) after Ryzen 3000 update, else with a 2700x non oc It's doing fine but that's another price range and power consumption, Maybe check used?

    Buildzoid seemed to like the non max mobo you found

    Justapersononthenet reacted to minibois in Here have fun with some malfunctioning python code
    You're running a bunch of:
    if (text == x)
        do something with x
    -lines

    wouldn't it be much easier to:
    1. check if the piece of text is a letter of the alphabet or whitespace
    2. if it's a whitespace, do "space"
    3. otherwise do something with the letter

    Something like this in pseudo(-ish)code:
    for each(character in text) { string characterToWrite = ""; if(character == " ") { characterToWrite = "space"; } else if(character == FromTheAlphabet) { characterToWrite = character; } else { // Not valid/implemented character, handle however you must. } video.write....(characterToWrite); } Would make the code significantly smaller and easier to read.

    But I don't know python exactly. What part of the code is failing? What is making the file corrupt?

    ADSL filters should work fine, although in my experience routers/modems usually come with filters.

    Not much chance in getting a router with VoIP support in that price range IMO.

    I wouldn't expect any router to handle 200Mbit reliably in that price range unless you used it as a modem in bridge mode and a much better router for the actual routing.

    Man, Driver is a lit as fuck game. I bought it on Steam back in late 2015 and it's always been one of my favorites.
    I believe it was removed from purchase because of licensing; most likely because of the car manufacturers.

    everything maxed out it should do perfectly fine, worst case you slightly drop a setting and the fps should go up (depending on the game)
    the 450w psu should be fine
    rx 570 and 2060 consume around the same power for what i found (160w)+ i5 (95w) and you got the spare room

    Go for a RX 460 or RX 560.

    Presentation video makes me regret clicking, I wouldn't even think about raising 1M$ for a project with something so poorly made, you're on top just because you are the newest post not the best....
    As for the idea is kinda "meh" especially after considering the price and compatibility issues with port type and most importantly port location

    Generally modifying the dGPU on these Acers requires a BIOS mod. I know I had to mod my BIOS to enable dGPU once I added it to my Aspire 4720z
