If I had to guess, its on the roadmap, but not a high priority most likely.

I wear double hearing aids as well thanks to lots of ear infections as a kid and Helicopters in the Army.

I see, that sucks. My dad got his two or 3 years ago just. But he was also in around Vietnam (Though worked as a mechanic in the states.) He actually was injured several other ways while in the military including his back really badly and his knee but they said there was no record of this and refused his claims. Whats really ridiculous is they didn't even have record of him being in the military in the first place. He luckily kept all of his papers and was able to prove that he was. It is horrible how bad vets can often be treated. But that is off topic. Anyways sorry that happened, really sucks.

Every company, including EVGA and Seasonic, have the potential to make garbage or at least sub-par products. Other companies exist that make decent or high performance units. Many of EVGA's higher end units are manufactured by Super Flower, which is another power supply manufacturer that you can buy from.

If you want to use it as a space heater, then do some good with it and run Folding at Home. It fully utilizes CPU and GPU so maximum heat output. 

Of course it also meant I got stuck redoing *all* of the problem jacks around the office.

Thats crazy considering the Keystones have the wiring codes on them... at least all the ones I've ever seen and used. 

I've seen some horribly abused keystones. Wires punched in random order, evidence the "cut" side of the punch blade was on the inside, wires un-twisted several inches away from the keystone, then punched from the outside in, keystones punched with a screwdriver...

They did, my only guess is that they were drunk or colorblind.

My PSU was super hard to fully insert modular cables on the PSU side, I actually caught my error later on. Could be the same thing.

If its giving you 100mbps instead of 1gig, then most likely the Keystones are incorrectly punched down. I would pop the plate off and make sure they're terminated to the 568B standard on both sides.
