Mr. PC got a reaction from Gildroy in Upgrade Recommendations
Going from a 1080ti to a 2080ti is really not a huge upgrade but an expensive one so would not recommend it. Intel's 10th gen isn't looking promising at all, since their still releasing basically the same products with a higher boost clock and TDP. If you really want to upgrade your CPU wait until Ryzen 4000.

How about a GTX 760?

Mr. PC got a reaction from giusgius in Connect GPU using PCIe slot (Wi-Fi or M.2)
Here is an ltt video on it. It does require quite a bit of modification and can be more than a bit sketchy.

Mr. PC got a reaction from Bombastinator in Most games stutter
So... Ryzen is very memory bandwidth dependent so I would usually recommend that you use 2x3000mhz at least to get the full performance. Could you check the utilization of the gpu and cpu during games? Then you can tell what the bottleneck is. Also do you have all your drivers up to date?

Mr. PC got a reaction from jaslion in Is this good enough?
This will destroy that in most applications and it costs less than 3500:

Mr. PC got a reaction from A.E. Pendell in (Follow-up) Motherboard Differences?
I would say it's either an updated design or hp had multiple boardpartners who produced the board slightly differently...
Either way it's probably fine

Mr. PC got a reaction from Herman Mcpootis in Planning on building my first real PC! Could you help me with the parts?
Yeah but once they start releasing some of the next gen cards soon prices for the 10 series will drop.
Also the ryzen 5 1600 is cheaper has more cores and a higher clock Speed and overclocking support...
Don't see why you go from post to post hating on AMD CPUs @Herman Mcpootis

Mr. PC got a reaction from TheWeird1 in I bought a motherboard and CPU combo from ebay, your thoughts?
Should be fine

Looks like a big time CPU bottleneck...
Try going with a ryzen 5 1600

Yeah thunderbolt 3 and USB 3/2 look very different... and have different speeds (it goes USB 2, USB 3, thunderbolt 3)
Thunderbolt can also carry display Signals and connect to external GPUs(these things are usually only used on laptops though)
You really don't need thunderbolt 3

Mr. PC got a reaction from Help1stThyme in Check out what I got so far
Thunderbolt 3.1 is just a port that transfers data quickly...
You would have a hard time finding a board that doesn't have 3 USB ports and audio jacks
Most boards have 4-6 usbs

Mr. PC got a reaction from Lurick in Check out what I got so far
I know you are asking the other guy but
Just anything cheap with enough ports is good...
I chose that board because it fit the black and red theme and is solid in overclocking
But any z370 board should be good at overclocking
