Quick back story, I worked for Apple as a T2 Senior Tech Manager Support. I got this escalation and the customer was a older guy but really knew iTunes and didn't seem really non tech savy he had some simple iTunes issues. Sooo everything seemed ok until I told him to  type on the keyboard, he told me that he had no idea what I was talking about. Basically after 10min of trying everything to explain to him to type,press, do whatever he just did to make the letters appear how he did he said, "OHHH you mean the typewriter?" I simply said yes, yes use the type writer. We both laughed, he said that he never knew it was called a keyboard. Im just glad that he was a super chill old guy!

I have 2 270x's in crossfire, and they run everything I throw at them in max settings. I chose that route over a 290x since I got 3 of them for $315 and sold one of them for $150.
 
Personally I like my setup over a single 290x. It actually has better FPS in most games, and I haven't had any issues with crossfire. It is also more unique, and looks more badass in your case to have a crossfired build.
 
I would suggest to make sure you have enough case fans to keep them cool.

I fixed it! I just had to update the drivers for the GPU. Was still on 320 and I updated to 340!

Well, depending on what you get changes your scenario. How would we know which one you would prefer to do? Does gamestreaming on a tablet appeal to you, and is it something you can see yourself doing? Personally, I would never see myself gamestreaming because if I want to game at home, well I just go to my room on my computer. Are you the same?
 
Honestly, I would go with the ipad because cheaper and I believe the novelty of gamestreaming will wear off very soon.
However, android tablet is before ipad.

Game is ehh not worth it. Ima just wait until cyber monday this year or black friday to see what I can get. Its not that far away really and I can wait.

Well for one thing I'm tired of it being called scummy, and being compared to piracy. Choosing to not to render certain content in your browser is not piracy. While you may agree or disagree wether it's morally right to do that, especailly to content creators, ad blocking is no differnt then popup blocking back in the day. Nor is it different than using tivo to skip ads on TV. People are suddenly OK with it if it's not "the little guy".
I don't use adblock on all browsers myself, but I make custom scripts for some websites like youtube ads and others to selectively block things that annoy me from certain ad provider. Agree with it or not, it's my right to block content on my computer, and sometimes I browse with adblock. 

Well, it depends on the device....For a desktop, I don't think it makes any sense to get a mac since you can get a much better pc for less; and since working on a desktop--upgrading and/or troubleshooting is much easier--less of a need for a warranty-based repair. For a laptop on the other hand, I think Macs are a good choice--and worth the money. The support is much better, the hardware tends to last longer, and they can compete with pcs with higher end components. So as long as you're not gaming, I definitely see Macs as being a worthy pc competitor on laptops.

I would actually recommend, depending on your budget, to just buy an iMac or MacBook. The build quality is superb and as a result MacBooks are very durable and last a long time.
 
I would also advise that Mac is not a lifestyle. Macs are tools that certain users choose because they find it helps them work the best. The Apple experience is very tightly integrated and focused on technological advancement, which is why their software may not be as backwards compatible as on Windows.
 
This is, however, a threadjack and I suggest that if you want to learn more about OS X or the Apple ecosystem that you start a thread about it. Be forewarned though, you will get a lot of flames from Windows lovers and maybe even some misinformation.

Neither is better. They both have their uses. I have Windows 8.1 on my desktop gaming PC and OS X Maverics on my Macbook Pro. Flexibility!

Thats the  one advantage with the old model just try to compare what you do on your pc and see if you can find a solution on the macbook side. if all vital things have a mac alternativa and you think the hardware is suitable go for it. As I've said I love my macbook, in fact im using it now, so i can tell you, at least in my experience, you will be happy either way!

Thats a good idea since the external drive is probably worth a fair bit (misread it for 2tb originally). Personally i would try and get the newest one possible because i find that Macs get outdated and slow very quickly from my experience but thats only with Hard drives, SSD's will make a big difference. All in all if you fink its a good idea, do it. Personally in your situation i wouldn't do it but i think thats because i need more power than the 13" has and since you don't seem too bothered about gaming i'm guessing power is not an issue to you. As long as you think it is a good deal, do it!
 
Good luck with it, along as you see your self upgrading it within the next two years (my guess before it starts to get slow) go for it, but you  have to consider it is non upgradable.
 

I bought it, the screen share is if you buy the 100% guarantee for about 80 pence. This is so that they can watch you put the code in and see if it worked. If not you'll get a new key/money back. If you do not share screens and it does not work they will not refund/give new key.
