If it's registry you could do a system restore to before when you did it. Most disable this, but it's worth a shot mentioning.

Why does everyone suggest the G4560 it will only will hinder you in the future. Intel already forced everyone to switch boards for coffee lake. the 1151 platform will only let you use 6-7 gen processors.
 
Go the intel way only if you can find used.
 
Zen is good for a few more years.
