  1. Why would you need GPUs in a server for transcoding? You can add the M.2 on a PCIe card, so I'm gonna ignore that requirement to give you best value. Either way... CPU: Dual E5-2667s? Your choice there, really. Mobo: Gigabyte GA-7PESH2 - has 16 RAM slots, dual CPU sockets, 2 10gigabit ports + a dedicated IPMI NIC, plus two PCIE ports for a GPU, 2 onboard SAS2 sockets (up to 8 drives each). https://www.theitmart.com/GA-7PESH2-GIGABYTE-Intel-Rev10-LGA2011-E-ATX-Server-Motherboard RAM: 4-8x 8GB ECC DDR3; pick it up off ebay. Case: 4U Rosewill w/ 15 drive bays: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0091IZ1ZG/ PSU: Whatever you want, needs to have dual EPS power and a 24pin plus whatever you need for your GPU(s). (Though I guess you could use an EPS splitter but I really wouldn't recommend it)
  2. Check the logs. Can't do much without them. docker logs steamcache-dns
  3. Caching is the correct term. Cashing refers to money.
  4. You can't even activate older versions of Windows, the activation servers for it are down.
  5. love the pic and the banner

  6. That's not really how fans work. Air doesn't just "escape" like that, a fair sum will still be going through the fins. It'll be fine.

  8. It's enthusiast hardware; of course it's overpriced. By the same logic PC hardware & luxury cars are hipster bs and overpriced.
  9. I see a lot of negative comments regarding the LP60's tracking force (amongst other things) but a lot of good comments about the LP120. I'd poke around reddit.com/r/vinyl's wiki for suggestions.
  10. Coinbase, gdax, Shapeshift. Not sure why I'd deliberately use an unsafe site. Anything and everything. Do your research and decide for yourself. NEO. Ripple.
  11. If supply exceeds demand, prices will fall. If demand exceeds supply, prices will rise. Pretty simple economicss... for example, look at graphics cards.
  12. Yeah, sure. @ CD Projekt Red: Go ahead and cancel Cyberpunk 2077, since Witcher 3 didn't pay off. Maybe, just maybe, if companies were to put out good, worthwhile AAA story-based games, then it'd be worth it. See: CD Projekt Red.
  13. The USB C on my Pixel XL has been great, hasn't given me any issues at any point in time. I've replaced many more microusb cables than I have USBC.
  14. Switched kits again, so thus, I return! I'm on 2 sets of 2x8GB TridentZ RGB 3200 14-14-14-34 sticks, now. Haven't had too much time to tinker, so this is the best I could do... will probably come back and play with it some more after BIOS 3501 makes it to stable. Good news is that this has been stable for over a week
