I ditched HTC in favor of oneplus years ago. But the problems I have with my current and second oneplus (8 pro) are just too many to count, even more so after updating to android 12.
 
To name a few:
- Notifications won't display on the lock screen, despite being enabled.
- Automatically connecting to their own bullets wireless is completely broken. Same with auto connecting to any other bluetooth device and automatically resume playing music, this is really annoying in my car, where I now have to open the bluetooth settings, connect, switch to Spotify and press play. It's minor I know, but this wasn't the case before updating.
- A single tap on the screen while the phone is locked used to be able to show the time and battery for a short time, gone now.
- Being unable to slide down the quick access menu on the lockscreen while the phone is locked.
- When using their fancy pants wireless dash charger it sometimes stops at 52% or 76% and just won't charge further.
- I too have 21gb labeled as 'other' in my storage.
- The camera quality is hit or miss, mostly miss. Sometimes it makes a great picture, other times it looks like it was taken on my galaxy gio from 2011.
 
Most of these problems came after the update to android 12 and I'm so pissed about updating, but in classic android/oneplus fashion, the update notification was impossible to dismiss and swipe away. Really not giving me any choice.
I'm still waiting on daddy Tim Apple to give us actual fast charging and allowing us mere mortals to move apps anywhere we want on the homescreen instead of throwing them on a pile.

Personally I've carried my xps 15 in the Strävan backpack (which is not cheap by any means) for the last two years and I have nothing to complain about that backpack.
 
but if you have "like 4 backpacks" wouldn't it be a better idea to just get a sleeve from something like case logic and fit it into one of your current backpacks?

I've tested another switch, no luck.
 
So our network layout is something like this
 
Modem --[Two separate cat 5e wires]-> 3-part rj45 wall outlet in living room (one is wired up as a phone line).
From the living room one of those cat 5e wires goes to the switch by the tv. the other one goes upstairs to the 7 port switch.
From the 7 port switch it goes to a pc, nas, multiple printers and to the wall outlet I'm having trouble with.
 
Plugging the same wires I use to plug the outlet into the 7 port switch into the modem and using the same wires to go from the outlet to a pc works.
But when I run these same cables trough the wall from the room the 7 port switch is in and then connecting the outlet again it doesn't work anymore.

First thing Monday,
because who needs support in the weekends? -dell.
 
It's one year ago today that I bought it, pretty sure European laws say I should still be covered until one year after I received the laptop.
And the repairs were still within the warranty because that was last week.
 
 

XPS is in my opinion the best windows laptop, when it actually works. Sadly with my issues I'm doubting my own opinion
