October 30th Apple Hardware Event Recap, w/ Vega?
Ginger_ replied to DrMacintosh's topic in Tech News
That is just awful logic. "you have that really nice camera, but Apple doesn't like how it communicates so buy a newer camera that takes pictures that look the exact same, just has a new port to communicate with. You didnt need that $1000 for no upgrade anyway, right?" That's a fair point, I'm not sure how many though, I have a canon and it uses micro -

They haven't, but on a pro device they should. No professional photographer is going to take pictures with it, but its perfect for editing them. If they would of put a port in it would be easy, now you have to drag around yet another dongle. -
October 30th Apple Hardware Event Recap, w/ Vega?

Those are pretty nice looking, and refreshingly not crazy amounts of apple tax for the hardware But WTF is wrong with you Apple? iPad "Pro" with no headphone jack, micro SD, second USB c? Apparently they again forgot that people actually have to plug things into work oriented products -

Apple went rotten after Steve Jobs’ death, former engineer claims
Ginger_ replied to PeterBocan's topic in Tech News
You're right, they definitely made some mistakes and I'm not claiming he was any angel. He was a good marketer that gladly took the credit for every successful launch apple did, even though he had nothing to do with inventing it. But, besides the ceo being a scumbag, Apple was a good company to buy from because you could trust them. Minor problems here or there, but overall the best quality hands down, android was a steaming pile at that point. Then he dies, two years later an irreversible software update comes out that all but bricks every iPhone 4, which was the most popular. We then get bending phones Apple lies about having no idea, Verizon employees tell customers to never update their iPhone because it could kill it, this posts allegations, phones that can't add and bugs everywhere. TLDR, Apple was a better company with jobs. Still a scumbag, but an objectively better company -
Apple went rotten after Steve Jobs’ death, former engineer claims

To be honest I think anyone could see this coming. I've never been an apple person, but they honestly had good products with Steve Jobs. I'm not saying they don't make good stuff anymore, but the way they lie about things, release bug filled software, dongle everything, and charge fees and taxes on everything to everyone involved makes it a company I can't trust or recommend. Bendgate is enough alone, but it's just a part of their huge downturn -
I've watched a few of his videos, he regularly recommends garbage parts like the overpriced i9 7700k and armor 1080ti, top of the line motherboards with non k cpus, and basically always msi parts because any other brand is garbage according to him. Also he doesn't disclose sponsored videos, and half his videos are basically one long ad. He also has lost his mind at his viewers if they don't worship him It's a bad channel at best, extremely dangerous and misleading to someone new to building pcs at worst.
