evilside123 reacted to Windows7ge in Question about ECC RAM
If anything you would have less problems (not that you would really be able to notice). That is if desktop windows utilizes the function of ECC. Even if it doesn't you won't notice anything going wrong as a result of having ECC there. It's a feature that's desired among servers so lets say in the future you want a NAS you could convert that tower into something like a FreeNAS box which could leverage that ECC feature to ensure the integrity of the data.

evilside123 reacted to Ankerson in i7-4790k vs i7-7700
Just not enough of a difference to be worth the upgrade over your CPU, now if yours was a 1st or 2nd gen I7 then yeah.
Yeah the 8600K and 9600K are fine also.

Not to a 7700 no.
Now if want to upgrade the 8th or 9th generation CPU's would be worth it, like to a 8700K or 9700K etc.
Would be an overall improvement.

evilside123 reacted to ARikozuM in Logitech Peripherals
I'm loving the G910. I find the Romer-G to be as satisfying as the old MX Blue G710 that I used. I've posted the two day review that I'll be expanding upon in the coming days.

I want to change the green led lights. I read that you can sand the green paint off and it will be white. Is it safe to do that? Like will it void warranty or damage the gou?
Thanks.

evilside123 reacted to Enderman in windows 10? still busted
Almost all people having issues with windows 10 are people who were too lazy to clean install and used the broken upgrade process instead.
If you want to use windows 10 then you should clean install it.
