bottleneck much?

also, what's the model of your PSU? Not just FSP or 80+, the name.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

According to the Intel ark it does support ECC.

@evilside123 What is your use case? If you feel you need ECC support there are more appropriate motherboards.

Does this power supply even have the appropriate connectors for the 1070? closest I can find says otherwise:

https://bulk.fsp-europe.com/fsp400-60apn-85

unless this is the wrong unit

the i3 7100 does actually support ECC, my bad. The motherboard supports ECC unbuffered too.

1st question: yes it supports gtx 1070. it has 8pin and 6pin connector. I tried using it and it runs perfectly.

2nd: will it run my on my PC smoothly? that's my only concern, i dont want to spend my money for nothing.

If that's the case that's fine. It's a nice to have feature.

Will I have problems if I use ECC memory or it will just run fine?

If anything you would have less problems (not that you would really be able to notice). That is if desktop windows utilizes the function of ECC. Even if it doesn't you won't notice anything going wrong as a result of having ECC there. It's a feature that's desired among servers so lets say in the future you want a NAS you could convert that tower into something like a FreeNAS box which could leverage that ECC feature to ensure the integrity of the data.
