MValuableP got a reaction from Anghammarad in Why isn't my mouse working?
I got it guys. Reinstalled the drivers, had to change the "surface" which it is set to optimize in it's software program.

MValuableP reacted to zMeul in Does it matter which way my waterblock is positioned on the CPU?
it somewhat matters based on the orientation of the fin channel in the block and the CPU die under the IHS
the diff can be couple of degrees, nothing of real importance

MValuableP reacted to kameshss in Is it allowed to sell discount codes?
I don't think so. But ask moderators about that. Most probably no.
But look into modding subforum https://linustechtips.com/main/forum/14-case-modding-and-other-mods/ people will constantly use custom sleeved cables if they're doing modded builds. At that time, just slide into their DMs and ask them You can also take a look at Build Logs subforum https://linustechtips.com/main/forum/3-build-logs/.

But yeah, not much you can do, it's solid someone will probably recommend something, but it's really not going to matter too much overall, you're good

MValuableP reacted to HKZeroFive in How much fps i should Expect with this setup
It's decent. But I reckon you could do better for your money.
-Get the Pentium G4560 instead of the i3 6100. Miles better value.
-Switch out the GTX 1050Ti for a RX 470.
-The power supply is fantastic but it's a bit too "overkill" for a budget build of this calibre. I think you could go for a cheaper one like the Corsair CX450/550M or the Antec Truepower Classic. They're still decent power supplies but they don't bite too much into your budget. You might even be able to get a SSD with the money saved. A simple 120GB one as your boot drive would be good.
-Get a FreeSync monitor.

There's this thing. It's called PCPartPicker. It makes stuff easy to read and part prices easy to compare and find. Try it.
Make an account and set stores to just Newegg if that's where you just wanna shop

MValuableP got a reaction from jeffmeyer5295 in Thoughts?
I do know. I just don't want to end up with a Ryzen fitting motherboard if AMD take as long as last time to release new stuff

Just look at how many sockets Intel has had in the last few years. (Not in date order) - 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 2011, 2011v3

Side note,
I am not trying to argue with you, you asked for thoughts and I am just trying to tell you mine ;P I apologize if it comes off that way as a lot of people on this site do not understand this

MValuableP got a reaction from jeffmeyer5295 in Thoughts?
Possibly, who knows. Truthfully it probably will be outdated, but I see more hope in Intels 8th gen processors being 1151 than AMD's next high-end being compatible. (Also, who the f*** releases their "big" cpus before the mid-tier and low.end ones???)

Also, @jeffmeyer5295 and @nerdslayer1, should I be worried about the length of my GPU and all that?
-
MValuableP reacted to jeffmeyer5295 in Thoughts?
Yeah I can understand that, lets hope it pans out that way(not likely knowing intel) as I have an 1151 socket as well
But I see that choice as more of a positive anyway, They got people, even the ones who planned to buy the r5 or r3 to buy their higher margin, higher end cpu's, and both got more money out of it, and will create more lifelong users as they will be more happy with the faster cpu's. just throwing out htoughts there though.

AMD confirmed that the AM4 socket will be supported until 2020, and they already started working on Zen 3, the successor to the successor of Ryzen.

Sure, anything competitive. I'm just more comfortable going with Intel (also because they've been focusing on single-core performance; better gaming experience). Might just close it here, boys, I'm not going AMD (as you might be able to tell). Though this has been informative, and a nice debate, thank you.
One last thing, I still didn't get an answer for my original question in the post, would you mind trying to answer?
