it's been a few weeks now, am i the only person who's bothered by it? I use teams for work too, and i also listen to podcasts when i work.  so EVERY.DAMN.TIME he gets a notification on WAN show, i panic and check my messages, there isn't one, and it was on the video....

i don't know what is wrong.....  everytime when i start windows, there is no task bar, i need to deactivate my surround, then reactivate it every time to get it to apear.......

i do think it's quite a shallow hypothesis though..

at this rate, my dad is going to put a 1GB per day download cap on the router per day,
and his reason is:"i only can use 10MB per day on my laptop, so if you download 1GB per day of data, you are not doing any work!"
and the reason he only ever uses 10MB is because he only ever look at stocks, and refreshing graphs webpages doesn't use alot of data..
 
i tried telling him that even a 4min video on youtube can be 400MB, and his reply is" watch it on 122p then!  i can read the graphs on the videos of Bloomberg at 122p"
   (i only recently bought a 4K screen, at this rate it's going to be less useful than a 4:3 screen cropped)

i like in england, and recently, i switched from virgin to talk talk (fiber)
the service people hasn't come yet, but they sent me a router, and a instructions manual, with some cable...
 
they said they was going to provide up to 36Mb/s is internet with Fibre, but in the instruction manual, they said to connect my router to a phone line splitter
and from the phone line splitter, it branches into a cat 2 cable (yes, with only 2 contact points)
 
and i searched up, and cat 2 only does up to 4 Mb/s...
 
say... was i fooled, talk talk is a rather big company, so i doubt it was a fraud, but i'm getting VERY worried.....

saved money is still money, and they can transfer it to some other parts.
not only enthusiast buy these you know, ppl that are making a living out of computers would like to save every penny possible
or cunning PC builders that build PC for enthusiast could use these websites, then charge for the usual price and buy it cheaper.
