Being the PC-god is cool sometimes, like when the beauty Little girls come and ask me to fix their pones (i'm actually using very first Smartphone ever, so i'm not an expert), their "wifi" or whatever, i make it long just to watch them carefully and then i come out with: "oh, sorry i didn't notice that your phone doesn't actually support any wifi connection", or "you didn't have the wifi password", "mmmm this devices are not actually compatible".
 
The bad side of this is:
 
1.When everybody comes to me asking for help without even have read the user'smanual.
2.When people want me to fix their crap, but don't want to listen the explanation of how they could make it themselves.
3.when people i helped before blame me for any further trouble they have with their devices. (someone had already said this)

Some of my friends and family still can't see the diference between the HDMI and USB port.

Just because it doesn't happen for you, doesn't mean it's not going to happen.
I deal with hundreds of computers a week, I think I have a pretty large testing size of computers. 
Computers ranging to powerful desktops and laptops to $300-400 best buy specials; any of which have a seemingly 50/50 chance of working fine/going horribly horribly wrong.

It´s always funny to see people get mad like that, i actually do the same everytime my lap gets slow.

Since i found out how to place a "Mac-like" bar on windows (by using RKlauncher) i finally got rid of all that messy shortcuts (the things in the desktop) blocking my beautiful girl wallpapers, that was ok for my pc but when i did this in the job:
 
This guy comes and tell me "What have you done with Word, Excel and stuff, are you crazy?, you f+++ed up my lap!"
 
In fact people think you can uninstall things by deleting the shortcuts.

In the future just use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? by clicking mod editor when you have opened a save file it allows you to see just which mods you have running.

To be fair, if you haven't used a 120hz or 144hz monitor before which the majority of people haven't then they would think that it is quite smooth.

That was feature in Vista...? And before that it was feature on both Mac OS and Linux. In Vista I had Aero turned off because it was just that feature. In Win7 I have some of Aero features turned off but I like the preview bit. Here's oldie video mocking Vista:

Fun fact, you can use that feature to test refresh rates, I know I did when I overclocked my monitor to 75Hz, and there was a difference when compared to 60Hz.

It certainly isn't and would probably kill most of my coworkers Pc's since the poor creatures have only crappy mobile Pentium and Celeron CPU's, and aero desktop has proven to be quite a challenge for those things.

You should take apart the laptop, re-apply thermal paste, and clean any dust and debris out of the fans.

there are samsung models that have bad cooling design, paired with clay :)
