I'm 17 still in HS and I can agree with you on that one. Make the most out of your time in HS, you don't get it back after.

It will work. Just won't get to use ultra settings or anything.

I'm pretty sure people have run PUBG with lower cards. You might just want to lower the settings to save some VRAM.

I'm 17. Reading through the thread there's only one piece of advice I have that hasn't been said:  Once you hit high school, really try not to be antisocial. Though middle school and almost half of HS I was content with playing video games on Skype/Discord with the few friends I had and only seeing them in person at school. They hung out in person constantly but I was always scared of being weird and awkward. People stopped inviting me to things because they knew I'd never go.
 
It's been about a year since someone invited me to a party and I decided to go. Looking back it wasn't even that great, but it was the most fun I'd ever had in my life at that point. From then on I decided to make a real effort to be social, hang out with people I already know and meet new people. It's been the best year of my life, no contest.

looking through your old posts, you say you have a RX 460. Have you installed a GPU or did your PC come with one?

My attempt at a light hearted joke response went rather terribly so i'll go with something a little more straightforward.
 
We do make a lot of videos that are jokes or trolls.. and as is the nature of these things sometimes they don't go so well! We release a video every day.. It can be hard to perfectly hit the mark every time.. Also please consider that some people may enjoy some things that you don't! Although the comments and like/dislike and whatnot can communicate when most people aren't into it and we constantly try to learn and grow from this.

We have always been silly, we have always trolled, we have always made jokes, we have always pushed the bar, we have always tried new things.
 
Sometimes we're too silly. Somtimes we troll a little too much. Sometimes our jokes aren't funny. Somtimes we drop the bar. Sometimes the things we choose to try are not the right things.
 
And we will continue to do all of these things, we will continue to make mistakes, but we will also make a ton of awesome content while doing so.

I have consoles for the exclusives but they are perfectly fine machines if all somebody wants to do is game without fiddling around
 
They generally last a long time, and you only have to buy new hardware like every 5-10 years

is the PC better? yes, does it do more? yes, is it potentially cheaper in the long run? maybe
 
But if somebody just wants to play a decent selection of games without complication I really dont see the issue,, and lets not forget some people dont care about the extra stuff and just want to play games easily
 

Yup! It's a super cheap and outstanding cooler that fits all current and most older CPU sockets.

It's the best CPU from AMD, but is pretty much a mid-tier Intel CPU.

Yes YES YES

Not worth it. The thing is, most Z class mobos will still let you OC non-K CPUs. (It's not just Skylake systems. My non-K 3570 clocks up to 4Ghz). 
And of course, OCing only really gets a noticeable performance difference when benchmarking.
