if it's a gpu failure then it probably won't output anything. why it crash on higher level operating system but not on lowest level bios, my bet is bad solders on cpu, more specifically io pins belongs to what used to be called northbridge, memory controller and pcie lanes.

so the only thing wrong is your ram, their speed dont match. it came with a single 8gb ddr4-1866 sodimm sticks, if you install a 2400 stick, they will only run at 1866 if not overclocked. but that's will not causes freeze on boot. i will still guess you may have a loose ram. for a computer that doesnt have a lot of moving parts, thats your biggest culprit.

kinda feeling down lately, need something to binge, i generally like newer shows than old ones. currently im watching: madam secretary: a really comforting show, not about "drama" stuff but focuses on how she and her team solving crysis on at a time. elementary: another comfortable, matured show, this low cost show makes bbc's counterpart looks like gay kardashians. counterpart: not gonna lie, the title theme hooked me in, turns out it's a really good spy drama. altered carbon: i fucking love cyberpunk. i fucking love ghost in the shell (anime). also some more obscure shows: marcella: a nordic noir show from uk. about a police detetive with psychological problem. cardinal: yet another nordic noir show, but from canada, it's said the best show canada have ever produced. feels much colder than marcella. watched: house: it's never lupus newsroom: yes it's aaron sorkin but it's addicting. breaking bad: skipped a few eps, i admit i was gaming while watching it, still one of the best english tv shows out there. not as good as house tho. used to watch but ditched: game of thrones: i like fantasy drama, not period drama. (there are some chinese shows with way better story) house of cards: the first 3 seasons were top notch, then it crumbles. west world: the story is too shallow for me, and the pace is too slow. the man in the high castle: really good premise, but the pace is slow as hell, didnt finish first season. silicon valley: it's a damn good show, but i not really into cringe comedy. brooklyn nine-nine: it's good, but i dont like sitcom either. big bang theory: IT'S STUPID, STUPID! i hope hp will have a improved model with less screen bezel and alternative material option. i like leather but it's not exactly the most environmental friendly material to make, plus polyurathane or pu leather can be as durable as the real one, and way cheaper and consistant.
