  1. After this news I did some research and decided to move all my domains from Google Domains to Cloudflare. Because I use them for my DNS anyway and because they don't take any cut on domain purchases on their platform.
  2. A Synology NAS would probably be a good option in that case. This site might help you pick a model. https://www.synology.com/en-us/support/nas_selector
  3. Just updated Java on all my computers. Thanks for the post. Edit: Read Eigenvektor's post for more information. Just updating your Java install isn't enough.
  4. If you read this list and recognized one of your passwords, I'd recommend https://bitwarden.com/.
  5. I bet you Craig Federighi has has sideloaded tens of thousands of applications on his Macs over the years. You can already sideload apps with a Apple Developer Certificate on iOS anyway. This argument is so ridiculous. Adults are more than capable of determining if they're fine with the risk level of a program they install, just like we all do on our PCs, Macs, and Android devices all the time.
  6. Not technically encryption, but: 01101100 01110100 01110100 01110011 01110100 01101111 01110010 01100101 00101110 01100011 01101111 01101101
  7. Just worked for me on Win 11 Enterprise. Thanks for the tip!
  8. According to Front Page Tech, Apple employees are currently testing iPhone 13 Face ID arrays on iPhone 12 devices while wearing masks and/or foggy glasses indoors and outdoors. It seems likely from this news that Face ID will be able to work with a mask and glasses at least on the hardware level in the iPhone 13. Weather or not it's enabled in software and how it will effect security, we will have to wait and see.
  9. Fair point. Intel and AMD do measure it differently and there is no industry standard for "nm"s.
  10. Intel 4 being 7nm seems more than a little misleading.
  11. Probably wouldn't be worth it in this case because it wouldn't be that much of a savings.
  12. Do you live near a MicroCenter at all?
  13. That's really strange then. Maybe they're really poor quality screws or the screwdriver bit could be warn out.
  14. I can't tell is it's PH2 from the picture. When you hold a screw in the bit can it move at all?
  15. Okay. My recommendation would be to make sure you're straight with the fan and put a lot of downward pressure into it. Make sure you're using a PH2 bit. You are basically cutting threads into the fan plastic, so it will take some force. Edit: those are the correct screws.
  16. What screws are you trying to use for the fan?
  17. What did I just watch…?! I can’t believe she doesn’t have a dedicated wired router and separate APs for better coverage. Haha
  18. Has anyone been able to buy? Looks like Steam servers are struggling majorly right now.
  19. Maybe the 64gb of eMMC could be used if you install your games to a usb-c drive instead of MicroSD. Then you'd have faster speeds. I'm having trouble deciding if I want to preorder and if I would want the 64 or 256gb. $129 is way too hefty of a price bump for just the storage increase IMO. I might order the base model and cancel if the reviews show it's not as performant as I'd like. Very interesting product though! Hopefully it doesn't die after a couple years like many other Steam projects often do.
  20. Looks like the Windows 11 Dev Channel is still waiting on a patch. Hopefully one rolls out soon.
  21. Seems like Microsoft’s problem. I’ve been watching a rebroadcast on YouTube.
  22. Windows 10. A couple weeks because the 21H1 update messed up my HID Keyboard Driver so I couldn't use a keyboard. Grr Microsoft.
