Yeah this is important. There are plenty of garbage PSU's out there that claim 80 Plus certification.

The ultra-wide issue is a known bug we are working on, but your other issue can be fixed right away. I will send you a PM.

Normally the 2 week thing is not legally binding, but again, if you want a nice ref. letter, you have to make a choice.

That being said, any reasonable new employer who is really interested in having you on-board, will wait two weeks. Sometimes we forget how much work is actually involved in on-boarding a new employee from a HR perspective, and how two weeks is nothing to wait.
 
 

TBH, I really never liked the prices of Video Cards on Newegg. If you are not close to a MicroCenter or Fry's, I would try Best Buy. It's not the first place I would buy a card from, but generally speaking they are less affected by the marketplace insane prices.

Don't focus on things like HDR support, which even cheaper models are 'supporting', but since they don't have enough backlight zones, it ends up being a cheap effect.
 
IMO, I would focus more on the quality of the screen, color accuracy, 4k support, Chroma 4:4:4 if you plan on hooking it up to a PC, low latency ( super super important ), etc ...

I have never had issues with shrinking cotton socks. I would just lower the dyer temp.
