Especially not with everyone and their brother thinking it's a get-rich-quick scheme and investing their life's savings into it.

A lot of people are gonna be in for a hugely rude awakening.

Actually, you can totally get taxed for buying and selling currency as an INVESTMENT.  It's called a capital gains tax.  Simply converting one currency to another for a purchase has no capital gain.  However let's say that me, here in Canada, bought $100 000 in USD, then the United States found a huge wealth in MacGuffintainium deposits, causing a new financial golden age in the United States and the value of it's currency skyrocketed, then yes, I would have to pay a capital gains tax in Canada on the huge increase of value of my pile of USD.

Good! If you own crypto currency and want to trade it in the end into actual money or buy goods/services, then you should pay taxes.

And maybe then I'll finally afford something better than a GTX 1050:D

THQ Nordic has snapped up the rights to the Saints Row, Dead Island and Metro franchises with it's recent acquisition of Koch Media. The deal is worth 150 million dollars.
The source of the day is GameSpot.com
This is really good news in my eyes, Maybe we can see another Saints Row series, or even a Homefront.
The CEO of Koch Media Klemens Kundratitz sent a statement to Gamespot
Lars Wingefors, CEO THQ Nordic said that the company (Koch Media) will continue to operate as normal which is a good sign.
I'm just really happy that this is a thing, we might have some good games ahead of us.

Ask your friend for the password? If he doesn't remember there's usually a way to do a factory reset. Check the manual (or find the manual online if it didn't come with one).

HarryNyquist got a reaction from Bananasplit_00 in Lootboxes might be banned in Germany very soon with possible fine for publishers.
My prediction for the end result of this, based on Germany's in-place ban on blood and similar stuff:

"Due to German law, we cannot offer <game with lootboxes> for sale in Germany, nor can we allow users connecting with a German IP address to play <game with lootboxes>. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Per EU regulations, if you would like a refund of your game purchase, click here".

Unless other countries actually follow, this is just a massive inconvenience to German gamers. It's not going to stop unless big markets, as a whole, consider a ban. Like, the ENTIRE EU, the US, or Canada as a whole ban them, then we might see change.

If you weld the desk together then add a 1/2-3/4" wood on top, its going to be mighty heavy.

    Things to keep in mind:
Modularity - keep In mind the need to move it - allowing for some disassembly will be good for you and your back.  Perhaps weld cubed frames that are then bolted together.
Risers or wheels- for the base to prop it off the ground - be able to sweep under it slide it around so you don't ruin the floor or carpet etc.
    Cable management -self explanatory

A load of gamers being pissed that Facebook got the rights to their game isn't tech news. Heck it's barely news at all, it's just the internet being the internet.
