    FireCatch13,
It depends on what your definition of running both means. If you are trying to utilize both cards on one display on 1 input then no. You can utilize each card on a separate input and change inputs and which card is enabled for certain applications. Keep in mind however depending on CAD software you may not gain any performance difference in a k2200 versus a GTX 960 (Maya 2015 has the GTX 690 and GTX Titan recommended and Certified to the same level as any workstation card). You have to be on the display output of card you want to use as easy utilizes it's assets only to process and display current content (no CUDA support of rendering on the back end).
    Hope this helps.

    FireCatch13,
With Autodesk 3ds Max the recommended/certified cards are the same as Maya.  The Graphics card is only for being able to preview and display models during creation but the rendering of models and frames is handled but the processor.  To make a long explanation short a single consumer grade GPU (certainly a Titan) will be more then adequate to handle what you describe.  I personally would just a Titan X or 980 Ti and save the money on having to purchase the two separate cards.  While Quadro cards CAN introduce a level of reliability and allow for additional capabilities on certain software, 3ds will not have this advantage.  While not having the ECC and reliability this only affects pre-processing and display of models, your final export and low % of error should be more then adequate.  If you insist on stability and reliability you should be investing in a Xeon with ECC to gain this advantage in post processing of renders.

    Hope this helps.

after a windows 10 upgrade you need to re-authorize the Hyper-v server again, and you can do this by : running cmd as an admin and type in" winrm quickconfig " and hit enter. After that you get a few prompts and you gotta accept them all when thats done
type in: winrm set winrm/config/client @{TrustedHosts="Your Hyper-v Server IP address"} and press enter. after that you should be good to go.

    terere93,
Regardless of this, graphics card only affects in application previewing.  Rendering and final exporting is 100% processor based.  This means that the person you are getting this graphics card for may not see any difference in CAD performance getting even a 980Ti.  Cuda, Stream, etc do not affect this.

    Hope this helps.

It really depends on what your end goal is and your definition of "real" programming is.  Every business and industry has their own requirements and vision and past that some are trying to make early adopted "old" technologies compatible with newer (older databases, etc).  You can literally learn any languange and there will be a need for it, there is no standard one size fits all (I know of a government contractor who uses cold fusion and just upgraded to ESXi 5.0 for example).

Dietrichw is absolutely correct, one thing I will point out is the current GTX line is not on the official approved or recommended list for compatibility.  While the GTX 960 may have better performance the application may not take advantage of this yet.  That being said I personally would go with a GTX 970 as the price to performance ratio shows this to be a great card especially with applications that can make use of it (Adobe Premier Scrubing, etc).

    Hope this helps.

First off, can you confirm that IP Address? 192.168.1.0 looks wrong. I think you made a typo when typing it into the post. 192.168.0.1 is more likely.

Second, no, the default login is different for every brand.

    I would try the following:
    User: admin
    Pass: admin

    User: admin
    Pass: <leave blank>

    User: <leave blank>
    Pass: admin

If none of those work, you need to find the exact make and model, and then find the user manual (can often be found online) and look through it for the default login info.

Is this a standalone router, or a Modem/Router provided by your ISP?

I would also try shorting the switch pins to verify it isn't an issue with the switch in the case before potentially causing additional fault points. Just a thought.

    Redjo,
These options do exist, your best bet is to contact your ISP to see if they have this as an option.  One thing I would caution however is that these all in one options generally suffer from jack of all trades master of none syndrome in that their security, compatibility, range, and reliability may suffer.   I make it a point to distribute my network load to better suited equipment when possible (as in dedicated NAS versus a router with NAS, wireless, etc).  There are many ways to do networking but keep in mind you want the right tool for the job and if your concern is better, faster, more reliable networking, then consolidating will generally slow things down (example: I have removed a verizon router with an up/down of 80+ and gotten 150+ by using the correct equipment).

    Hope this helps.

It looks like you only have one router, the black box appears to be a modem.  If you directly link your PC to the black box assuming it is a modem you will be reliant on your PC firewall and security profile.  You will also not have wireless.

    Hope this helps.

Linus has historically been a proponent of the "Buy the best you can now, so you don't end up spending that same amount or more in a year and a half, or two years from now" field.

I generally agree with that kind of a point.

And, future proofing does not exist. Simple as that. Future preparedness does exist though. You can never be 100% certain that one technology is going to be 100% viable x number of years from now. For example, you buy 4 980ti's, and a 5960X, so you can run 3 4k panels at medium settings in games. 8 months from now an alien spaceship crashes in the middle of L.A. and the technology from it advances computing 100 fold. Now suddenly, you're out of money thanks to spending it all on that computer, and every other computer is 100 fold faster thanks to quantum computing and advanced bio-organic storage and relays. You've just been bamboozeled by the "future proof" scheme.

You can however, be prepared for the future, which is an assumption that technology is going to advance as it has for the last 15 years, at a steady rate and you buy parts according to what you want to do, 2-3 years from now assuming that tech continues down that path of advancement. It can be a bit tough at times, but it's far better than buying just enough to let you do what you want today, and then not being able to do that thing a year from now, and having to buy a whole new computer.

Problem as far as I can tell is that the motherboard doesn't appear to be the issue as on Tonymacx86 has that board on the compatibility list.  Without having the computer in front of me I'm assuming it's a graphics issue which would have to do with the R9 290 card, not the motherboard.  OP needs to check Tonymacx86 for posts on graphics card and motherboard compatibility and possibly post for advice there.  In my experience proper kexts is 1 side of the equation but graphics compatibility is another side of the coin.  Be sure you are attempting to boot into safe mode first then install drivers, kexts, etc.

    Hope this helps.
