Broadwell + Haswell = Braswell?
Said Braswell is replacing both Haswell and Baytrail Atom. Is it just a dumb name for die shrink Haswell aka Broadwell? Is Intel high? I hope it's just their marketing team being high not their engineers.

Edit 2: So it's a die shrink on Baytrail. Intel's Atom roadmap is fucking crazy for Atom. Major updates every 6 months for the next 2 years. It is fairly clear what Intel is focusing so much on. I mean they got merrifield and moorfield for phones this year and Baytrail and Braswell for other Atom products. 14nm die shrink, new graphics, bunch of power related changes, LTE modem. Intel is going all out on mobile now. It's only a matter of time before they dominate IMO. Still waiting on the Anandtech or some other reputable site's article on all the stuff Intel announced a few days ago, but hopefully then we will have all the info that Intel released then.

IBM engineers figured out that was the smallest they could go physically and now they are gonna make that node. They are just gonna skip everything in between.

People don't know what they are talking about. They know next to nothing about panels and displays. Pretty much all they know is TN bad IPS good when it is so much more complicated than that.

The PB287Q's picture quality is extremely close to my U2414H, which is an ultrasharp AH-IPS... It only suffers in the black department.

Windows 8 is objectively superior to 7. If you don't like the interface download classic shell, but going back and putting windows 7 which performs about 10% worse in games, and various other improvements missing is flat out stupid.

A few of the links are the same person but yes many are different.

So what about that one phone that would sell you the phone for $1 if you smashed the competitors phone (and were picked for it)? That is a rebate to not use a competing product.
 
 
I still think it is fine to pay to have someone only sell your content. Hell, look at exclusive game titles, never see them getting fined.

Wait.... So in Europe they can fine everyone who simply discounts their products to get a competitive edge!?

They are not using a57. They are making their own custom ARM v8 core a la Apple.

A low voltage one at that. Power consumption is leauges apart. Could they at least make a somewhat fair comparison and compare a dual core m SKU instead

This guy works as a scientist (can't remember for what though) so I think that makes him kinda credible. Anyways, the video is him dismantling the solar roadways kickstarter and showing it's stupid and really unrealistic. Ignoring the costs of the solar panels and electronics alone would cost more than 50x the national budget.
