  1. Is your ram in one stick or two sticks? if two sticks are they in single or dual channel?
  2. First off your never going to get a stable 144 fps. Check your task manager to see if you have any background programs running, this can affect the processor to some degree. How much RAM do you have, I will go on a limb here and guess "2x8 3200mhz" is 2 sticks of 8GB of ram for a total of 16GB? and is it installed in dual or single channel? If in single channel, this could be a bottle neck. If you are running your game from the HDD is it a 5500 rpm, 7200rpm or 10000rpm HDD? this may be an additional bottle neck. If you recently updated your bios, did you make sure that your bios setting were correctly set up?

  4. Today on what grinds Sans gears.

When you have a bur up where the sun don't shine, try pulling that sucker out of your ass and be better for it. Trust me, it's better for everyone, including yourself.

(I wasn't mad when I wrote this, just sometimes, its needs to be said aloud)

  5. @Sheymin fixed your title for you, please keep titles relevant to the context of the topic. Thanks.
  6. Habits take time to change to change.. Just going to put that out there. LMG and Linus are all Human like the rest of us. People are placing him on a pedestal he neither wants or needs. I can think of a few reasons why this hasn't changed if they planned to do so (I dont know if they do plan to do it). There is a difference from referring or rounding up a price in a video ie 9.99 to 10 is not the same as changing a price to actual charge for the product in the merch store. It's easier to say 10 dollars than saying 9 dollars and 99 cents... Tomato / Tomahto <disclaimer> I am not defending, just giving my opinion.
  7. Rule of thumb when it comes to the internet... there will always be a fake something to screw you over, peruse with caution. Rule of thumb for software, firmware, and drivers; always go to the manufacturers website for the recommended driver or suffer the consequence for not doing so by downloading from a 3rd party. (unless said 3rd party is trusted) If this topic is a repost to add to a previous topic, please don't, we do not allow reposting of topics in this forum. Keep all conversation of the issue you are having in the same topic; you are allowed to revive your own topics so members don't need to read multiple threads to help diagnose and resolve the issue you may be having.
  8. With the complexity, this is more of a super niche thing to do and really only makes sense if you have a server rack to cool. Not saying it shouldn't be done but water cooling as a whole is not as common as one would think and this level of water-cooling is going to be even less of a thing to do.
  9. Honestly any $35usd usb pci expansion card will do the trick, they come in various options so really it ups to you how many ports you need and if you want it in USB-A or C or if you need 2, 3, or 5 ports. I currently have a card with 5 USB-A 3.0 ports in my rig. Did the trick. I dont have a brand to recommend for you as I just grabbed one with the best reviews I found for a decent price on Amazon.

Oh my gosh, now there are amogus fiction books...

I can't imagine how this would make for a good book series... I am a little curious but not enough to buy one to find out.
  11. Torrenting is not 100% exclusive to pirating... please keep that in mind.
  12. -= Topic moved to Troubleshooting =- OP please have more information so members can better assist you. We need system specs, old psu model/type, new psu model/type and any additional relevant information. We welcome you to the forum but please remember we cannot know unless you tell us and we unfortunately have not developed the ability to read minds (yet).
  13. Grammar & Proper Punctuation. So not to sound like an ass (and I am sure I do), it helps to convey your thoughts better when you don't type up a wall of text. By breaking this up with better formatting your post will help the reader understand your issue. We understand your gripe, but it is more frustrating to try and follow along with what you wrote than feel bad for your situation while working through that post. I suggest you breathe a little before hitting that submit button; proofread your post, correct it, and then hit that submit button. Trust me, you will get 100% better responses from the community.

  17. I suggest you have your motherboard RMA'd by the manufacturer, hopefully it was a faulty component and they can replace your board.
  18. I was mostly curious. Always be wary of what you watch online and always do your due diligence to double check information that you see so that you know that what you're doing is done correctly the first time . As @Middcore pointed out smoke is always usually a bad sign.
  19. Ram along with the rest of your components is required to post properly. In order to boot properly, you additionally need at minimum one ssd or hdd for the os to be installed on. Additionally I have Merged your topics, let's keep the conversation inon thread. Pease do not repost topics.
