  1. -= Topic moved to Looking for Group =- Please note were you post. Thank you.
  2. This is the LTT Forum.... the store is a separate entity.... just sayin.
  3. -= Topic Cleaned =- Keep your comment to being constructive, if you can't just don't comment. To the OP; Building a water system is great, just be sure to exercise caution being a first timer.
  4. Not surprised by this, I am glad you won though and are doing ok. I feel you on the back issues, I suffer as well, not to the degree you do probably but understand. I dont recommend the AARP to any one though, it's not what it used to be. I get their mail constantly and I am only 39, why? who knows. I do know they are losing membership for their continued increase in supporting and promoted crappy stuff.
  5. -= Topic moved to CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory =- This is not news, discussion worthy but not news.
  6. Your not a senior yet, wait till you reach 65-70 then your a senior.
  7. -= Topics Merged =- Please do not repost your topics, multi-posting is not allowed. You will receive replies over time, this is a forum it takes time as a forum works in this manner. It is not a real time social media site.
  8. I'm sure it's not and I am sure @Spottywill remove it at the appropriate time....
  9. Your question is an odd one in the way you word it.... But, You should buy what you feel is best for you. If you can find and afford newest gen then buy it, if not then buy what meets your need and budget. I dont always buy newest gen, I buy what fits my need... and I cant say I am poor or rich...
  10. Hey my parrot doesnt bother anyone.... has no one noticed it?
  11. Just didnt know what you meant by WAP... im aware of the that nasty womans video and song [of which I will never listen or watch]. I cant say I have heard of WAP being used for Warning Points and I cant say Ill start, knowing it also means the other thing I dont want to think about. Thanks for that image....
  12. If they break just use a few case screws to put it back.
  13. Please dont, this type of comment is very unnecessary and not generally welcomed here.
  14. Thismulti quote and quote in that order.
  15. 1. No... but if we did the answer would still be No. 2. I do have a sheet I use copy/pasta for most and I also have templates I use on occasion, but I am probably the only one or one of few that do. I do try to personalize the message some of course for each situation if needed. *edit to add this A preview of my list for copy/ pasta, the most common ones I use here, but not the whole list as there are things that dont concern the open public. I use this mostly when I have lot of topics to move usually, I get impatient when having to type the same thing 10 times over.
  16. What was the idle temps prior to the cleaning? What temps does it spike to to? Example my 1080 idles at 34c and jumps to 72c on heavy loads, which is common and fairly good. And the same with other questions asked above... Also, -= Topic has been moved to the Troubleshooting sub-forum =-
  17. Ill take your word for it as I have no context to go with on this. /shrug. This bit would have been good to include in the OP. My recommendation would have changed but its all good. Sounds like an awesome guy, you are doing well to do this for him Good luck with your gift, looks like you have several others helping you out here so I'll leave the conversation to all of you.
  18. You answered your question here. Ship it with WIn10, make it easy on him, do the pre-install, include the iso usb as a backup for him and done.
  19. I sure hope this is not the case, Samsung pretty much uses third party for most of their warranty repairs. At least here where I live in Iowa.
  20. -= Topic moved to CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory =- Please be mindful of where you post your topics.
  21. No, gallium reacts very badly with aluminum components. More than likely it has silver or ceramic in it.
