    Sorry to waste everyone's time! I got an HD 558 just now from dad for my birthday and I couldn't be happier, I listened to an HD 599 in a shop and I was really impressed but I don't think I can even hear the difference between that and this HD 558. Thanks anyways everyone!

    A well 100 is already nice. Imo the 40 Hz from 60 to 100 is a bigger noticable difference then 100 to 144... Probably diminishing returns on the percieving side.

    In terms of temps, acoustics and fps, they are all fairly similar, especially the last 3 you mentioned
