Well, we only hit it once (I haven't logged on today so I haven't seen it since then) But I already have a PSN account from owning a PS4 that I no longer use. So I'll end up linking it and forgetting about all of this again. It's definitely BS that it runs perfectly fine without it, but it's also not as big of a deal IMO that people seem to be making it. Sea of these required PSN users to sign up for a Microsoft account, and everyone playing Call of Duty games since 2019 that came with crossplay had to sign up for an activision account. I'm not exactly happy about all of this, but I'm also not looking sleep over it.

IMO this is not a problem. They did tell us ahead of time Many people, myself included, hit skip and forgot all about it. This, is an issue. These people should get a refund from Sony, but Steam will probably step in.

Yeah, actually I am. Just because he's installed the Vertical mounted bracket here, doesnt mean it actually allows the display cables to pass through it And while this PC seems to have been ditched only a few months later for an all white aesthetic build (he mentions this in his early 2024 studio tour), it's otherwise never show in it's "on" state in any video since this. Perhaps he got lucky with cable / port placement on his GPU and just hated the aesthetic of it turned on, but most users will not be so lucky. This is further supported by: Honestly this just smells of an Ad video, which is fine; it's just important to keep in mind for people who blindly think this mount will guaranteed wort with any case even if there's cross braces.

The problem is OP will still have to cut the cross braces found on this particular model of case.

Ah yea, I watched that video awhile ago.
Gotta admit the case looks nice and easy to build into.
However a side of me wonders, as with all proprietary things
When the fan breaks... how easy it is to get a replacement

You should be fine with either CPU then. I'm just bought the 7800x3D and I'm using Inventor (another Parasolid program that prefers high IPC) and it performs amazingly. I also dabble loosely in video editing with premier, but currently I'm using the CUDA cores on the RTX 4080 to render.

This depends on what type of 3D model software you're using. Blender and Maya are both very GPU intensive applications, but 2D programs like AutoCAD, or 3D parasolid programs like TinkerCAD, sketchup, Fusion 360 or Solidworks are very CPU bound (specifically high IPC, high frequency single core).

They're overbuilt, bespoke, toleranced to 5 microns (0.0002", 0.00508mm) and come with a 10 year warranty. Of course they're outrageously expensive.

What do we consider "luxury"? https://optimuspc.com/collections/waterblocks The only issue is they're a small company; their block selection is limited to "High end version of the highest end GPU SKU"

My Main PC is on a UPS; I will definitely have to implement it! ITNOS has nothing important on it or any important hardware so it's not important enough to battery backup. I do need to get a new GPU to fold on though; 1070TI's just not cutting it anymore. Been reading up on your efficiency testing as well as referencing Lar's GPU datatbase. -

Gigabyte might be going this route as well At this point Asus seems to be the only one "fully" supporting both teams, but even the number of cards (and the actual variance in cooler design) they've pushed out for RDNA3 is short. We'll have to reserve judgment for the next generation, but honestly, I'm not sure this is a big deal either. Both teams have enough reputable AIB's that we don't need to worry about AMD being underserved for third party cooler options.
