Just wanted to remind everyone that anything that is discounted from MSRP is likely a fake discount and anything that is supposedly discounted more than 15% is also fake.
Do your research, make smart decisions. Don't just buy crap just because a company told you it's discounted.
And to make it even more clear:
Amazon Prime Day = Fake
Black Friday = Fake
Christmas Discounts = Fake
Easter Discounts = Fake
Any other "today is a special day"-discount: Very likely fake!
(Yes, exceptions exist...)

Things that often happens in my house :
Mom : Hey, find & order this for me, the price is XXXX after 50% disc. Hurry, the seller says it's only for 2 days. *shows me the product page*Me : *Sees instagram ads* Sure sure.
4 days later
Me : Here's your item
Mom : Did you get the discount ?
Me : Well, the one you shown was XXXX at 50% disc. I bought this at 50% cheaper than the discounted price you were shown.
Mom : How the...... ?! Are you sure it's the same item & quality ?
Me : 3000%, feel free to prove me wrong. I'm willing to bet my kidneys that the one you were shown is the same shit quality as this one.
Mom : I still can't fathom how ...
Me : There's a REALLY BIG reason why I oppose my brother & sister to the point of fighting them, about teaching you how to order stuffs online.
Me : Also, the "discounted" one that you said only 2 days, still on "discount".
Yet I am still called the big spender one, and the dumb one.

The two 410w solar panels I bought are now 2 months old. Within those 2 months, they produced ~100kWh according to the Chinese spyware app I'm supposed to use.
At 30ct/kWh that's 30€ I saved within those last 2 months.
Give or take I should be able to produce 400kWh a year at least, which means I save about 120€ or more a year on electricity. Considering the entire rig cost me around 500€ then that's of course not so great. However, the German government subsidized the purchase of solar panels, and therefore I effectively only paid 150€. (My city pays quite a bit more money than usual)
So after a year, I should make a profit!
(also I'm saving the world obviously lol)

I saw 8 bit guy (David Murray I think) bought used solar panels on the cheap and installed them. They seem to be much cheaper even if they’re not as performant as they were when they were new and provide better value and payout. Assuming you can find well priced used panels. Might be a good idea if you want to consider expanding.

Regarding old cars in Germany, as you were talking about them on the WAN show:
Old cars in Germany are allowed to be driven, no matter how old they are. However, it is important to make sure that the car is still roadworthy, which is why cars need to be checked by an organization called "TüV" every 2 years. As long as the mechanical and structural aspects of a car are considered good enough for the time it was built, it will continue to be road-legal.
So for example, if a car was built in 1990, it needs to adhere to the regulations of that particular year.
A lot of German car owners take pride in their old cars, which is why they are usually not driven all that often. I myself own a 1997 Audi Cabriolet, which I usually park inside my garage for the entire winter and only drive when it's sunny outside. On top of that car maintenance in Germany is expensive, which is why it's often more feasible to buy a new car than to maintain an old car.

Attached are images of my old truck's frame (05 f150, reg cab long box 2wd with near 300k miles on it, she lived a hard life). Still use it today on the roads but I do have a new truck to work with, so it sees less action than it used to.
reminds me of our 00 chevy venture.

In Germany you'd probably lose your license for driving that
