Its funny how at 1440p I rarely break 2Gb. Tiny bus is irrelevant if the card handles it well, which it will. A bigger bus isnt always better. Didnt we go through this with the 290x 512bit bus doing basically fuck all extra? SLI 960 will definitely be faster than a 970

I just use a paper towel. Isopropyl alcohol isn't actually necessary. 

They sell on hardwareswap for 60-70 ea

You could put them in Raid together but dont. It would be a waste of 250Gb of space on the Evo. They dont have to be the same capacity but they should be

Definitely my 7870, I was very sad to sell it last week as it was my first GPU. Then card was awesome at 1080p and for the last year ive been using it at 1440p and it handled it so well. The only game it ever kind of let me down on was Titanfall. That card got me through about 5000 hours of Arma 2, Arma 3 and DayZ. It overclocked like a beast, ran cool and looked damn sexy
 
Edit: definitely misread the title as I only read it in the URL. Thought it was underwhelming tech that impressed you.

So I got bored and had the stock bars for my Dominator Platinums lying around and I wanted to paint them black for the hell of it. If I messed up I already had the light bars installed so no big deal. Didnt use Plati-shit like everyone else

I'm not too big a fan of how they look, they don't really fit in with most GPU's, maybe with watercooled ones. 

i need a new psu. its ok with one card but 2 isn't so fun. at least they aren't as bad as sli gtx480's that i had. 

I already have some made up for when I get my cards. 

I honestly dont care. Shaw can send letters to their hearts content

that is probably a combination of a faster cpu and new drivers i'm waiting for some drivers that will magical get me over 3000
