Oh I do mean mechanical HDD's, unless you meant USB sticks.  Then those are far too slow to ever saturate USB3 speeds anyway and you'll never hit the limit on what we have now.  If you have a USB3.0 SSD however, that's a different story.  At most 10% slower.

10% can make a big difference in speeds. I think you're right in terms of the USB stick speeds. Cheers for the responses.

I know you've already been answered, but I just want to explain why cables wont have an effect. USB is a digital interface, the data is sent through the cable as 1s and 0s, which are assigned to voltages of 0v and something else (maybe 2v, idk) but basically, those two signals are basically impossible to confuse, so the quality of the cable doesn't matter (see Linus' video on the $1000 HDMI cable). In terms of physically travelling down the cable, the electric field propagates at the speed of light, there is basically no travel time for a current, do not confuse this with electrons though electrons move very slowly in the cables.

That's incorrect. Not all mice require drivers.

The clue is in the name, its an industrial fan for industrial applications, not really intended for a conventional PC

it requires 12v to run and is designed to be powerful, not quiet

EDIT: first line on noctuas product page

Conceived for industrial heavy duty applications

Make sure your firewall is off on both machines. That fixed the issue for me.

As far as I'm aware, they're open back meaning that sound leaks out of the ear cups to the outside. This isn't a design flaw but instead what it was intended for.

    - Yes
    - EasyPHP is a very simple/straightforward solution.
    - Study basic SQL commands, they are quite useful and can be way easier than using a graphical user interface. Is needed for automatic queries etc..

Amazon customer service is probably the best I've experienced. Being a Prime member also helps you as they prioritise you. I would definitely go with Amazon as I have no experience with Newegg or NCIX.

The fact that the computer recognises it most likely means it has nothing to do with the connection or any of that sort. It may be a case of when you were changing the setting within the mouse, it somehow got corrupt or just malfunctioned. It is very possible that your mouse is "bricked" (that is so weird to say) and you may need to get an RMA.

Have you tried contacting HP support with regards to this issue?
