The gigabyte 990fx one, as it is the only one with sufficient VRMs for an 8350. That being said, don't touch the 8350. Go for Intel.

hey bud i dont think he should go for intel.. he might not use this pc for gaming? who knows.. and whats wrong with amd anyway? yes it have higher tdp, yes means more power and yes it runs hot but it doesnt mean it will not perform well.. and anyway the price is so cheap for it performance, that being said theres always something wrong with buying cheaper stuff, but still it doesnt mean it wont get the job done.. yes intel might be better but still its not a go to solution..

Dual graphics cards. Use is obviously going to be Gaming.

FX=Shit in Gaming.

Far better for him to go Intel with a 4460 or better for his dual GPU system.

Also, don't call me bud. I'm the one that calls people bud. ^-^

since when does dual graphics card means gaming? not every game supports dual gpu sli/crossfire, so i dont know why you would think it is for gaming? it might be him saving money instead of buying a new card he would just buy a card like the one he already have and have close to almost the same performance than a one higher tier than his.

Name something that dual graphics cards are used for that isn't gaming.

Your argument is entirely invalid, getting a second GPU instead of buying a higher tier one for better performance, alright, better performance in what? Games, obviously. On top of that, why would he be trying to build a system with dual graphics cards if he already had a system, why not just upgrade his? Your argument makes no sense.

Edit: you have 11 posts, and your username is "PCBEGINNER", cmon man.

2nd Edit: Also, your grammar is shit.

well "VIDEO EDITING"

no one said a better performance. im saying he might be saving some money buying another gpu like the one he might have instead of buying something more expensive. it doesnt mean it will have better performance

and what the hell is wrong with pcbeginner.. it doesnt mean i dont know anything, it looks like you dont know anything when you ask what dual gpu is for.. cause the only answer you know is gaming WHICH doesnt always support dual gpus.. just because you game 24/7 doesnt mean everyone else uses their computer for only gaming

*facepalm* cmon, man. At least put in some effort. Also, as far as I know, video editing doesn't take advantage of SLI/Xfire.

Edit: You didn't even fully edit your post to make you right! xD You took out the first sentence about performance and left the last one.

Kek on the last part. I'm gonna go ahead and say that I bet it's similar to Gaming. Not all of them support multi-gpu configs. Regardless, I'd appreciate you not derailing this thread further with your pointless argument. FX is dead.

Well thanks for sticking up for me , people on here think there god and everyone has unlimited money , I do programming on a macbook (chill out guys) but testing it on multiple platforms is such a pain i need the 8350 for its 8 core count to run multiple virtual machines and dual graphics to run 2 OS's at the same time (mac and PC)

The first generalized statements couldn't be farther from the truth, and as an FYI, that's what happens when you don't provide enough information in an OP. We don't know what your use case is, so we all have to guess.

Go with the Gigabyte 990fx board you listed, its the only one capable of not exploding.

MAC VM's are touchy, you have to do it carefully.

Just put more money into your PC, and switch your monitor inputs between your macbook and PC. Profit.

AMD truly is slower. A 2 core G3258 performs +100% better than my 2 core AMD CPU  and is only clocked +7% higher.

We want you to have an enjoyable computer.

We need to be able to help the OP poster, and not lean on the small chance that a dual GPU rig is not for gaming just for the sake of starting a fight.

Dude i get your an intel fan boy , but a dual core is not enough power to run multiple VM's , Ive done my research so don't tell me "oh this dual core is faster than an 8350" 8350 is a good balance of value and performance ,

1. You neglected the part where I said to switch your monitor input to your macbook when you want to use MAC, Read more below

2. I never said the G3258 was faster than the 8 core AMD CPU

3. Price to performance and VM do NOT go well together

4. I had evidence why intel is better, even for the money. No evidence = fanboy

5. You sound dumb when you use bad grammar and "Dude"

6. Don't fight, I was trying to help. We need to keep a friendly atmosphere like the forum guidelines say.

7. "Balance of price and value" ? Value = Balance of performance and price

What I tried to say was just get a windows PC with no VM to spend the "fanboy fee" (lol) for intel's performance so you don't have to dump in loads of cash that will result in a poor performing VM. Just switch between your macbook and PC for your needs. You benefit way more this way.

Bonus round: People say that the 8350 is the best when it comes to multithreaded workloads, and that is true. But for every other thing, like games, web browsing, video playback, and OS and program operation will not run as well. ("BUT YOU CAN MULTITASK ALL OF THOSE" *facepalm* They don't run well in the first place all by themselves, you are just saying you can run more programs at the same lower speed.) It is like getting 8 microwaves instead of 4 unique appliances that can do many things well.
