Nice ! There wasn't a ton of publicity regarding it's launch though ( reminds me of broadwell desktop ). Linus should make a video about it , at least just for the sake of mixing things up ( can't say the latest videos were as interesting to me , but nothing much has come out recently )

    Text Review
I've used the CPU for about a week now and I upgraded from an 860K. This review will be a bit shorter than my normal reviews since there isn't too much to say about this (considering there is not huge architectural change).

    SPECS
    3.5 GHz, 3.8 Turbo Quad-Core, no HT/SMT 2 MB L2 Cache Comes w/ 95W Cool 'n' Quiet Solution ~ $65 USD Personal Outlook
The 845 is a tiny bit snappier than the 860K in daily tasks, but there's nothing terribly noticeable. I could interchange either CPU and wouldn't feel a difference. When it came to number crunching and heavier work loads, the 845 did feel noticeably faster, but barely. I especially noticed a difference when editing and rendering videos.

    Objective Outlook (aka benchmarks)
Here are a few benchmarks. The 845 pulled through over the 860K overall, but nothing to get crazy over.

    Gaming Benchmarks

    Cooler
The Cool 'n' Quiet cooler is pretty frickin' awesome. My ambient room temperature is about 20C, and I idle 28C with a load temperature of 56C. Now, the 845 is only 65W and the cooler is rated 95, so take that into account. Regardless, it's a nice upgrade from the previous generation cooler.

    Conclusion?
The 845 is a bit of a letdown overall, but it still is a great CPU if you're building a new budget system. I wouldn't recommend upgrading if you already have an 860K or equivalent, but rather, spend the money on a cooler and OC your current CPU.

Hope you guys enjoyed! Sorry this isn't as long as my usual reviews

Hi mate! That's looking really good, love it! I'm guessing you are after the pass-through fitting that foes through the panel. It's from Bitpower and here is a link to one on PerformancePCs, you can look up different colours if you want, I have the red one -  http://www.performance-pcs.com/bitspower-case-top-water-fill-through-hole-fitting-set-carbon-black-finish.html

Thanks Alex, I am going down the same road as you have done and purchased the D5 enabled reservoir and the in win 909(silver) case and i am going to have the reservoir fill point in the top of the case like you have done also. Could you tell me the name of the part that you used in your pic for the fill point that runs up to the top of the case as this is my first water cooled build and i am getting a lot of ideas from your build.  I wont post any more pics as the last thing i want to do i hijack your thread, so i apologize.

OnePlus recently started making their Bamboo Style Swap Covers available to purchase directly from the website, so I decided to pick one of those up, as well as the Babyskin White back cover.

I have had my Sandstone Black back for almost a year now, and it shows it, but it still looks pretty.

First is the Sandstone Black. The one that came with my phone. It has the most unique texture as you probably have heard. It is like a velvety sandpaper, which feels really nice in the hand, as well as gives a unique look to the phone. It does get dirty easily as you can see, as well as have scratch marks from extended use.

Next is the Baby Skin White back. I bought this off of ebay for $12. It does give a nice contrast when on the phone, but the feel of it wasn't what I was expecting. I was thinking it was going to have a more rubberized texture, but it feels just like normal plastic. The one I bought does not come with the side buttons, SIM card tray, or the NFC.

Last is the Bamboo Style Swap cover. Bought it directly from the OnePlus site for $50 + shipping. It looks very nice, but is a little slippery. Only the back is real bamboo so the sides are plastic that is a beige color to look like wood.

Personally my favorite is still the Sandstone Black, as it gives it a nice feeling while holding it, and looks premium as well. I will continue using the bamboo cover to see if it grows on me though. Personally I don't recommend getting the white one unless you really like the look of it, as it does not feel that good to me. Let me know if you have any questions, or want to see any more pictures. I would of done pictures of the removing process of the back cover, but I don't want to risk breaking any clips doing it multiple times.
