How is this fanboyism?
This guy just wants to know which phone works better.
As I don't follow phone tech. I would have the same level of confusion and most likely go for the newer one just because it is newer knowing nothing about specs.

buddyguy reacted to dalekphalm in Gamer drugged his girlfriend so he didn't have to stop playing games
To be honest, I'm utterly surprised about how many users here are so casual about this "No big deal, she wasn't hurt or raped".
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?
First, this has nothing to do with gaming. He didn't drug her because he was a Gamer, he drugged her because he has a mental addiction. This could just have easily been over Chocolate Milk. Mental Addiction will do fucked up things to your decision making skills.
Second, it doesn't matter whether it was male or female, and who drugged who. This is extremely serious. That woman is gonna have severe psychological trauma for quite some time after this.
Third, it doesn't matter WHAT SHE DID TO HIM TO CAUSE THIS. Even if she was a total, verbally abusive bitch, it doesn't matter. It does not excuse the fact that he drugged someone without their knowledge or consent. His punishment is very much too lenient. He should receive mandatory therapy/counseling, a much larger fine, and potential jail time.
If she was abusive to him, he should have gotten help. But since we have literally no information about their previous relationship, we cannot assume she was abusive or not.
Seriously. This fucking forum sometimes.

buddyguy reacted to gluconolactone in A great time to be a PC Gamer, and may hurt the consoles far more than most console plebs realize.
Console plebs? You for real? Again with the PC Master Race superiority thing. I don't really mind pcmr as a joke but when you put it in serious context, that's a bit too much.

buddyguy reacted to ilikemacandpc in Is the new MacBook the biggest fail from Apple?
It's a first gen product. It WILL have compromises. But it will only improve as time goes on.
But more importantly, it is a harbinger of things to come. Apple laptops will adopt universal standards, pushing the entire industry standard. The retina display will one day become average. Computers will get thinner and lighter while getting better battery life.
That's why it is the MacBook. No Air, no Pro. This will be mainstream, and I welcome its innovations.
Yes, it may not have enough ports. But it's a good sign of things to come, a good sign of future products that will not have compromises.

I find this type of marketing to really put me off a company, I don't care if it is coming from apple, asus, amd, nvidia, intel or whoever. I like mature marketing, marketing that is humorous, and informative marketing. Anyone who feels the need to impugn or even simply name the competition in my book does so because their own product probably doesn't stand on it's own merits.

buddyguy reacted to Slick in This is how I feel when peasants say they prefer a controller to a KB/M for shooters.
For me its always KBM - but tbh I know a buddy that uses a controller for PC shooters and you'd never know if you didn't see him doing it
it's whatever works for you...
I'm down with PCMR and spreading truth about stuff like 60fps>30FPS is good, but let people use the input device they like! I have an xbox360 controller pretty much always attached to my computer because its good for some games

buddyguy reacted to TheSLSAMG in How long until the discontinuation of Haswell?
Definitely in 2015, but it's retailer dependent. 2016, it may be more difficult to find the chips though.
